@RobinBarnhart he does that on purpose, sadly. I've noticed many mainstream scholars began outright denying the validity of End Times prophecy. The Bible is full of prophecy until suddenly the End Times is brought up. Then because of fear of being shamed many mainstream scholars pretend End Times is purely metaphor.

@@KeepingWatch95 I wonder if he is amillennialist. I grew up believing that Jesus comes back ... the end. That there is no 1000 year reign. As I got older and understood to take Revelation literally, it changed everything. We don't read the OT prophecies and think of them as allegorical, we know they are literal. Why would we assume the NT prophecies aren't the same?

Brandon teaches falsely about Holy Communion - BEWARE! Jesus Christ asked us to eat His flesh and drink His blood and where His flesh and Blood are then so is His Spirit. Please read the core relevant passages below of what Jesus Christ, the disbelieving Jews present and St Paul said in the Bible regarding the Lord’s Supper/Holy Communion/Eucharist, then the truth of how the Lord’s Supper can be celebrated as God intended. John 6:51-56 51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats of this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.” 52 The Jews then disputed among themselves, saying, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” 53 So Jesus said to them, “Very truly, I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54 Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood have eternal life, and I will raise them up on the last day; 55 for my flesh is true food and my blood is true drink. 56 Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood abide in me, and I in them. John 6:60-68 excerpts 60 When many of his disciples heard it, they said, “This teaching is difficult; who can accept it?” 61 But Jesus, being aware that his disciples were complaining about it, said to them, “Does this offend you? …64 But among you there are some who do not believe.”… 64 For Jesus knew from the first who were the ones that did not believe…. 66 Because of this many of his disciples turned back and no longer went about with him. 67 So Jesus asked the twelve, “Do you also wish to go away?” 68 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom can we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69 We have come to believe and know that you are the Holy One of God.” Mark 14:22-24 The Institution of the Lord’s Supper 22 While they were eating, he took a loaf of bread, and after blessing it he broke it, gave it to them, and said, “Take; this is my body.” 23 Then he took a cup, and after giving thanks he gave it to them, and all of them drank from it. 24 He said to them, “This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many. 1 Corinthians 10:15-16 - St Paul 15 I speak as to sensible people; judge for yourselves what I say. 16 The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a sharing in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a sharing in the body of Christ? 1 Corinthians 11:19 -20 & 29 - St Paul 19 Indeed, there have to be factions among you, for only so will it become clear who among you are genuine. 20 When you come together, it is not really to eat the Lord’s supper… 29 For all who eat and drink without discerning the body, eat and drink judgment against themselves. The way to celebrate the Lord’s Supper as our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ intended is to be a member of the Catholic Church or Orthodox Church. Catholic and Orthodox Priests have received the Sacrament of Holy Orders by a Bishop of apostolic succession and thereby have the faculty to consecrate bread and wine to become the flesh and blood of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit (known as transubstantiation since 1215). There is no other way to obey God’s request to eat the flesh and drink the blood of Jesus Christ. In the Sacrament of Holy Communion one receives Jesus Christ’s corporeal flesh and blood and His Spirit. Our one true God is most gracious and wise and one should lovingly accept His divine gift because “Very truly, I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you” (Jesus Christ). God bless you Chris

One of my favorite mistranslations is the meaning of "The meek shall inherit the earth"! It is often thought that you should be meek! You should be quiet, gentle, and easily imposed on; submissive! This however is a modern definition of the word and IS NOT what it would have meant in Biblical times! Roman Charitiers referred to their Chariot Teams as being MEEK! They would have been useless as a competitive team if that meant what we now use as its definition! What they were saying is that their chariot teams were Disciplined and Well-Trained! That is what Meek meant in Biblical times that we were to be Disciplined, Well-Trained, to be educated! Not to be easily trod on!
@garytorresani8846
@garytorresani8846 9 ай бұрын
Another way at looking at it is that the disciplined, open minded and humble will inherit the earth. No way does it mean to be easily trampled on but to be willing to change as the Lord wills.

Thank you for the information on the meaning of mansions, etc. I understand it symbolically, but your enlightenment regarding abiding WITH him is powerful. The aspect of relationship with Christ is very meaningful, when we're sometimes struggling to understand the scriptures academically or for enlightenment. It's more of how the revelations descend upon us as softly and almost imperceptably as dews or manna from heaven and we find His true love for us, and as he preaches us to love Him through service to our brothers and sisters. Thank you!

I agree with your first three corrected interpretations of false teachings or perhaps more appropriately called misinterpreted representations of God's Word. I do believe you miss the mark on Revelation. Much like Daniel was told the interpretation would be sealed up until the time of the end so too Revelation is about the very last days of the last days as John is called up into heaven to record those things which shall be. Of course Revelation provides hope for the downtrodden believer that there is ultimate victory in Christ but ultimately Revelation is clearly a very future prophetic timeline in relation to Christ's ministry on earth and that future is clearly coming into focus now.

That may be true that others during that time wrote in a macabre and apocalyptic manner... but revelation is absolutely whats going to happen... and why its now..? because of the time of where Humanity is in its growth currently and how long it can sustain this rate of conditioning sin... ego and negativity... which compound generationally... with this generation being the most spoiled... resistant to conviction and accountability and raised to be against our Eternal Father... I'm sorry we don't want to hear something such as this... but its real this time... and that shall be confirmed absolutely in real life... So we not gonna last much longer at this rate and HE not going to wait until we destroy ourselves and creation in a relatively short time from now before HE arrives... HE gonna sober us up and take full command of HIS environment and family... and if we do not prepare and condition ourselves and those we love all the way up til all Humanity to the best of our abilitiesprepare... there will absolutely be consequences... God bless and I respect your interpretations of scripture... but this goes beyond just words... the Holy Spirit will confirm those words in a variety of ways both inside and outside of us to clarify...

And yet here we have The Chosen producing a very entertaining and, at times, a very moving series that so heavily edits to the degree that no more than 5% of the movie is actually Scripture in its origin. So, yet again, many who do not read the bible thoroughly will simply 'believe' the movie-based version of probably 95% of what they watch and hear, instead of holding fast to the 5% fact and shelving the 95% imagination. Shame... 😢🙏🏽

Brandon, your trove of knowledge has helped me deepen my study of the Bible and also deepen my spiritual connection to God, so, I thank you for that. I would like to request a lesson about the false/true teachings surrounding Zionism and how it relates to and was created due to Capitalism as a religion, and how Calitalism has been intentionally bred into modern day understanding of Christianity in order to subvert the will of Jesus with the will of government. I know, heavy subject, but necessary for understanding how the Americanized version of Christianity has been used to turn hearts from the understanding God gives them of their worth, to the understanding that humans are worth nothing if they aren't slaving away for a business every day of their lives: and how in the religion of Capitalism, the only salvation is wealth, if you don't have it, you're a failure. We as Followers of Christ need to remember that our worth is not predicated on wealth that we garner or how hard we worked here on Earth. You are just as much a Follower of Christ(maybe moreso because you'refar less likely to boast that your worth is your own doing) if you live in a tent under the underpass, as you are if you live in a 3 bedroom home. Remember folks, Jesus flipped the tables in the temple. Jesus warned about the rich man descending to Hell after he left the poor man to die outside his gate. Jesus called at the Pharisees who's expectation and perversion of wealth caused the Widow with nothing feel compelled to give her last two coins, leaving her with nothing when they should have been caring for her, as we are all called to care for the sick, injured, stranger, widow, imprisoned, and the alien. Remember what Christianity means; to be a Follower of Christ.

Ever wonder why Cain is not in Adam's genealogy ? Find out what really happened in the garden. Anyone who does not believe these things to be true, before you deny them look up the words pointed out for yourself and prove the manuscript's definitions and meanings of words in the original language are false. *The two churches Smyrna and Philadelphia Christ found no fault with in the book of Revelation taught who the Kenites were. Which means the son's of Cain. Revelation 3:7 KJV - And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; Revelation 2:8-9 [8]And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive; [9]I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. *The garden was about an attempt to pollute the bloodline through which Jesus would be born just as was the fallen angels in Gen. 6:2 and Gen. 6:4 *God is speaking to Satan and the woman Gen. 3:13 & 3:14 Gen 3:13 Will put enmity between thy "seed" = sperma children literal offspring and the woman's seed, offspring. Cain was of Eve but not Adam. *Who was God talking to in Gen 3:13 ? The serpent which is a figure of speech identifying Satan. He is the serpent, not literally a snake but serpent as a title, a role he played. *Documentation of who the serpent is. Revelation 20:2 KJV - And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, *"Him" means an entity that is Satan. *What did the serpent do? He beguiled Eve. He seduced her.Genesis 3:13 [13]And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. Beguiled = to seduce Strong's Number - H5377 Hebrew: נשׁא Transliteration: nâshâ' Pronunciation: naw-shaw' Definition: A primitive root; to lead {astray} that {is} (mentally) to {delude} or (morally) to seduce: - {beguile} {deceive} *The tree of knowledge of good and evil was Satan.They were commanded not to eat of it or touch it. But Satan beguiled Eve. Touch in Hebrew = to lay with a woman. Genesis 3:3 KJV - But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. Touch = to lay with a woman Strong's Number - H5060 Hebrew: נגע Transliteration: nâga‛ Pronunciation: naw-gah' Definition: A primitive root; properly to {touch} that {is} lay the hand upon (for any purpose; {euphemistically} to lie with a woman) *There was no apple, the fruit was not the kind you eat. *The fact is, Cain is not in Adams' genealogy because Adam was not Cain's father. *Cain and Abel were fraternal twins Hebrew translation"again" = continue to do a thing. Continuing to do a thing during birth is twins. Fraternal twins. They brought their offerings at the same time indicating the same age. Genesis 4:1-2 [1]And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD. [2]And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. Again = to continue to do a thing Strong's Number - H3254 Hebrew: יסף Transliteration: yâsaph Pronunciation: yaw-saf' Definition: A primitive root; to add or augment (often adverbially to continue to do a thing) *Jesus taught who the Kenites were but not everyone is meant to understand. Enmity between Satan's seed and the woman's seed. Adam was the first representative of Christ's bloodline. The bloodline was carried on by Seth. 1 John 3:12 KJV - Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. *"Was of" is a euphemism. You will not find Cain in Adam's genealogy.Gen 5:1- *Kenites son's of Cain. John 8:44 KJV - Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. Matthew 13:38 KJV - The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; *Seed = sperma Strong's Number - G4690 Greek: σπέρμα Transliteration: sperma Pronunciation: sper'-mah Definition: From G4687; something sown that is seed (including the male sperm) Revelation 2:9 KJV - I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. Revelation 3:9 KJV - Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. *Shepherd's Chapel KZbin There is so much to the word than is commonly taught.

The serpent is satan. The issue isn't what the fruit represents and it isn't necessarily the serpent's promise. It's that they boke God's commandment because they had "faith" in something other than God. Anyone who reads Revelation knows it isn’t only predicting the future. The first 3 chapters are addressing 7 churches during the time of it being written. There's no possible way someone can read those and come away with the belief that Revelation is only talking about future events. However the vast majority of Revelation is talking about end time events.

@@leadnsteel1428 First that particular word was given to those under the old covenant who worshiped God. So apart from their worship they were not gods. Second Jesus said we must worship God in spirit and in truth, which means we must worship God. Third Jesus said all judgment is given to the Son so that every man will honor the Son as the honor the Father. We honor the Father with worship so we must honor the Son with worship. Also He is the only way to the Father so even moreso we must worship the Son. Fourth Jesus said that we are one with Him, which means we are more than those who were called gods in the psalm because they weren't one with God and they didn't have His Spirit within them. Lastly God created man like Him already. The only difference was that man didn't know good and evil like Him. God is good and everything apart from Him is evil. His intention was that we would come to know Him and as such we would understand what is evil.

The Church is only addressed or mentioned in the first three chapters of the book of Revelation. After that, the Church is not mentioned anymore. During the great tribulation, there will be men and women saved that don't take the mark of the beast (i.e. 666). But they will suffer martyrdom for their faith. The rest of the book of Revelation speaks of the great seven year tribulation, the millennial kingdom, and the New heaven and New Earth. But if we believe in the pre-tribulation rapture (i.e. the "catching up" in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18) of the Church, then the Church (i.e. the Bride of Christ) wont be here during those seven years of God's wrath.

This is a rather divisive video for otherwise harmless topics. I really hate to be the one to come out and say all this but here goes. I do this out of love for my fellow brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, and I hope that this is well received and not met with anger or resentment: Point #1 is such a non-issue. It frankly doesn't matter what fruit you picture in your mind when reading those verses. For all we know the fruit mentioned in those passages could be something that stopped existing after the Flood or only existed in the Garden of Eden. If you meet someone that adamantly insists it is an apple then you need to pray for them because that is such a mundane detail to get hung up on. I feel like if I approached anyone in my Church about this topic they would just shrug their shoulders and go "Oh, that's interesting, ok." and be done with it. Who really cares about this point SO MUCH to make it into a "false teaching". Point #2 is also...questionable. He is correct that the KJV uniquely refers to "mansions" instead of "rooms" like most other translations go, that's fair enough...however, HIS interpretation is very concerning. He leaves out the very obvious and direct meaning that Jesus was telling the Apostles that he want about to die and would eventually return to where is Father is (Heaven) and when he goes back he would prepare a place for them (including us). That isn't just some fancy symbolism but a very literal assurance that even when Jesus is no longer on Earth with us, and when we die, we don't have to be afraid because he is preparing a place for us in Heaven while we wait for Judgement Day. Point #3 is where I became genuinely upset with this video. What purpose does this point have? Acts 2:6 specifically mentioned a crowd forming around the Apostles as they began speaking in tongues. I also read the ESV, NIV, CSB and NONE of them give even a foot-note indicating that Pentecost took place at the Temple grounds. In fact, base this in mind...ALL OF ISRAEL IS INSIDE JERUSALEM. The Temple cannot physically fit the ENTIRETY OF ISRAEL in it all at once. It would make perfect sense that the Apostles (who are much poorer than people give credit) would have likely stayed at someone's house that could fit them and likely many other poorer Israelites. All translations I read indicated that the Apostles were on the Second Floor of a house. Not only that but apparently no manuscripts are noted to have ever given even a hint that they were in the Temple rather than a big house. This entire point wouldn't be such a big deal if Brandon didn't outright call it a FALSE TEACHING and by proxy refer to anyone who teaches it, false teachers. Point #4 is just purely deceptive. Why? Because is analogy is grossly misrepresentative of Revelation. The books of Daniel, Ezekiel, and Isaiah all have the interpretations of several passages of Revelation in them. The beasts with many horns? Daniel saw them in his dream and explicitly told us what they represented. They represent many kingdoms and their rise and falls (with one yet to occur). It's true that some of Apocalyptic Literature is difficult to read if you are not aware of Numerology (like how the number 7 is symbolic of God and represents "wholeness" or "completeness") but a lot of the passages in Revelation of ALREADY BEEN INTERPRETED by Prophets and are just rehashing older prophecies to tell us that the FINAL DAY is approaching and that the complete fulfillment is these prophecies hasn't occurred yet. I agree that Revelation is supposed to be a book about hope and to give us peace. I never heard anyone doubt that point. Lastly, some of the word-play he used is very deceptive or misleading. Why specify so strongly that Revelation isn't "only about predicting the future"? Nobody ever describes the Gospels as "only meant to prove Jesus is the Messiah" and nobody feels the need to make that point. I have noticed, however, that as humanity approaches the day of judgement there are more and more people who seem adamant about throwing a wrench into the book of Revelation to make it seem like it isn't an important book at all and you can effectively skip it. It makes me think about the verses from Jude 1:18 - 19 "They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.' These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit." This video seems very strongly worded in order to cause debate and division when it blatantly says "Beware These False Teachings" and then proceeds to give rather inoffensive teachings as these super dangerous and must avoid ideas. Who cares if I call the fruit an apple if I also give the complete message of the Genesis story of the Fall? Who cares if we specifically get mansions in Heaven so long as we know and are comforted by the idea that we will be with our Savior when we die? Who cares where precisely Pentecost happened when what matters is that scores of people heard the Gospel and saw the miracle of the Spirit allowing the Apostle to speak every language to every people? Why are we just ignoring the very legitimate debate many Bible scholars have over Eschatology (or the study of End Times)? Most importantly, why are my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ saying these things warrant "false teaching" which is akin to just saying heresy? These are serious accusations that should warrant debate if it is even worth debating. Not blanket dismissal and condemnation.

Thank you. I totally agree. I wrote in a different comment that with my background, I have never really read the Bible, but after watching the Chosen, I started. But I do find it difficult to understand and like how it is represented and demonstrated in the show as it demonstrates the humanity in Jesus etc. Videos such as this stirs up debates and if anything, turns me off from the Bible and formalized religion. Watching "Christians" blast others of a different religion does nothing but anger me and push me away. Jesus taught us to use love, kindness, forgiveness and to be non judgemental, yet we have so called Christians being the exact opposite, judging others saying their view is the only correct one. Talk about hypocrisy. 2000 yrs later and we have people on YT acting like a Pharasee as they thump the Bible which does nothing but push people away. As long as someone's religion is based on love, compassion and non judgemental, it's fine with me, it's called free will. I certainly don't believe that God would condemn a loving kind Buddist , Muslim, Native American spirituality and that's good enough for me. And no, I don't care if it was an apple, peach or pear in the Garden of Eden. Seriously.... is that even the slightest bit relevant?

Revelation was given to John when he was exiled in 95 AD to Patmos by emperor Domitian who ruled from 81AD to 96 AD. John was then released 18 months later that is in 97 AD after the rule of Domitian ended. Revelation was given to John by Jesus straight before his release, after the persecution has already happened. There is no need for Jesus to give John a revelation of events which had already happened, and john had already seen and heard about them. Revelation is like a vision which points always to the near or far future events, but always to the future. The voice said to John : " Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter."---hereafter = in the future, and that is after Domitian and the persecution of those times.

I don't know man, Revelation sure seems like it is indeed saying Jesus is going to come back. It quite literally is referring to events that just recently happened, like the Euphrates river drying up, a rise of earthquakes and natural disasters. Sure, it's not ONLY to prophecy the future, but it surely is prophesying the end to come and the return of Christ. Beware this false teacher, brethren.

Revelation was written to encourage a persecuted church by the Romans. It is typical form of Jewish apocryphal literature. The anti christ is Nero whose name in Hebrew numerically is 666.The point is in the end, God wins. Whatever else is attached to it in the form of end times prophecy is projecting onto it what the writer never intended.

Thank you for bringing this up. Love to see you do another one around the Jewish feast. All the feast did not just celebrate an occasion, but they pointed to the Messiah. In particular, the timing of the crucifixion was critical, and not just because of Passover. Saturday is Unleaven Bread which represents the burial of Messiah to believing Jews. Finally, and really super important. The Sunday Yeshua rose is First Fruits. Oh, also that Saturday is the countdown to Shavuot, as you mention in your video, Pentecost. As we have learned, if you study the new testament, the festivals are referenced when they authors are talking about time periods, or even upcoming events. These books and letters were to gentiles as well as Jewish believers. We, as a church, really need to get back to some of our Jewish roots. As I like to remind people, Jesus was a Jew, if God felt it was important, so should we. Not in a Torah sort of way, but in an understanding God and Yeshua sort of way. Sadly, we have westernized and modernized much of scripture and are losing its beautiful, more deeper meaning.

Part 2/3 In part 1 I tried to gently correct Brandon on either a misunderstanding or not understanding John 14:1-6 about the place the LORD is preparing for us. This part I want to talk about the book of Revelation of which I could write a commentary on and maybe one day I will if the LORD leads. I hate the term "apocalyptic literature" since it's not a descriptor but a circular nonsensical phrase. The Revelation of Jesus Christ or Apocalypse which means "Revelation" is what Revelation is called. So to say the "Apocalypse of Jesus Christ" has apocalyptic literature in it is gibberish. It's like saying the Bible has biblical text in it. Now yes Revelation has symbols in it. Which are interpreted in Scripture. For example, Revelation 17 12 “The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. 13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. 14 These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.” What are the 10 horns? 10 Kings. We also see this same reference in Daniel 7 7 “After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge iron teeth; it was devouring, breaking in pieces, and trampling the residue with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns. 8 I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots. And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words. "a 4th beast... and it had 10 horns" we continue reading 15 “I, Daniel, was grieved in my spirit within my body, and the visions of my head troubled me. 16 I came near to one of those who stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me and made known to me the interpretation of these things:...23 “Thus he said: ‘The fourth beast shall be A fourth kingdom on earth, Which shall be different from all other kingdoms, And shall devour the whole earth, Trample it and break it in pieces. 24 The ten horns are ten kings Who shall arise from this kingdom. And another shall rise after them; He shall be different from the first ones, And shall subdue three kings. 25 He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, Shall persecute the saints of the Most High, And shall intend to change times and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand For a time and times and half a time." Do these passages take some study? Sure but they are not open to our interpretation, we are to compile them and make sense of them. So what's the context? We see in Daniel 7 as with Revelation 17 that these events are just prior to the 2nd Coming or establishment of Jesus' eternal Kingdom on earth. Daniel 7: 11 “I watched then because of the sound of the pompous words which the horn was speaking; I watched till the beast was slain, and its body destroyed and given to the burning flame. 12 As for the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away, yet their lives were prolonged for a season and a time. 13 “I was watching in the night visions, And behold, One like the Son of Man, Coming with the clouds of heaven! (Mark 14:60-64, Matthew 29-30) He came to the Ancient of Days, And they brought Him near before Him. 14 Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, Which shall not pass away, And His kingdom the one Which shall not be destroyed." This 4th beast (Kingdom that covers the whole earth) led by a pompous horn (king) that kills the saints, and blasphemes against GOD and Paul says in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 will sit in the Temple of GOD and declare himself to be GOD is the final king of the final kingdom before Jesus returns to set up His eternal kingdom Zechariah 14. What many Christians argue is whether these texts are literal or allegorical. This has been a debate in Christianity since 300-400AD. Here's the problem Bible Prophecy of which Eschatology (study of the end, or end times) ia sub-section, and Bible Prophecy is a genre in Scripture. Yes, the Bible has poetry, books of wisdom, and historical, and law books but Bible prophecy is a genre as well. Every time the LORD says "I Will" that's Bible prophecy. And in the genre of prophecy, there are rules. Rule #1 they are literal. Regardless of the symbol, or vision, the interpretation is always literal. It doesn't matter whether we are talking about a global flood in Genesis 6 or the messianic prophecies Jesus fulfilled, they ALL happened literally. Jesus tells us this in John 13:19 "Now I tell you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe that I am He" (the Messiah). Paul tells us this in 1 Cor 15:3-4 3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,..." "According to the Scriptures" in other words exactly as it was foretold in Scripture. Not only is Bible prophecy literal it is extremely specific. In Matthew 16:1-4 Jesus is ticked that the Pharisees didn't know the time of their visitation. Why? Because in Daniel 9 the Bible is extremely specific if you know what you're reading. Verse 25 “Know therefore and understand, That from the going forth of the command To restore and build Jerusalem (Event #1) Until Messiah the Prince, (Event #2) There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; (Specific period of time) Verse 26 “And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall [j]be cut off, but not for Himself. - That after the 62 week portion the Messiah (the Prince) will be cut off, or suffer the death penalty, but not for Himself. When you study this out Event #1 the decree to rebuild Jerusalem (not the Temple) is in Nehemiah 2:1-6. Nisan (month of Passover) 445 BC. 7 weeks + 62 weeks = 69 weeks which is 173,880 days. 1 day = 1 year (Numbers 14:33-34, Ezekiel 4:4-6, Exodus 20, 23), 7 years = 1 week. 7 weeks =49 years. 69 weeks is 483 years (but the Bible uses a lunar 360-day calendar, Genesis 7-8, Isaiah 66) So the Pharisees all they had to do is take the date of the decree to rebuild Jerusalem on their calendar and add 483 years. Knowing in the month of Nisan (Passover) the Messiah would suffer the death penalty. But waiting 483 years takes faith that the LORD will fulfill His Word. After breaking this all down we can see here that Jesus was crucified Nisan 32AD. Verse 26 continued "And the people of the prince who is to come Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, And till the end of the war desolations are determined." This tells us the Temple and Jerusalem will be destroyed which we saw in 70-135 AD. So the Messiah suffering the death penalty but not for Himself will occur prior to 70AD. Knowing how the first 69 weeks were fulfilled we know that the 70th week of this prophecy is exactly 2,520 days long or 7 Lunar or Biblical years. And in Daniel 9:27 we are told the "week" of 7 years is broken in half so 2 halves of 3.5 years or 2 halves of 1,260 days (2,520 days /2). So our theology has to account for this period of time somewhere. Interesting how Revelation 11:3 talks about 1,260 days and between Rev 11:1-2 and Rev 13:5 there are 42 months also mentioned which is 3.5 years. Now sure Christians might have taken comfort during their time of great trouble, but don't mistake the context. This is about the future and they are specific events that will occur. Now since we are 2023 years from Jesus and we have not seen this 4th kingdom with this pompous king it's about our future. What's sad to see in Christianity today is that the closer we get to these events which we can clearly see coming as I will show you in Part 3, we lose the context and the hope of these being real events faster and faster. In the 30 years I have been studying and teaching on this I have seen Churches go from listing in their belief statements their Eschatological "End time" views to -We believe Jesus will return one day. Our KING is Coming soon and we have lost so much biblical understanding in this area that so many Christians can't make heads or tails of this topic. Make no mistake the book of Revelation IS about our future. Once you see it, hopefully, you'll never unsee it. (Concluded in Part 3)

We can’t imagine that the snake had legs before this happened because the Bible does not say. The curse was on Satan, whom God was speaking to. The behavior of a serpent in its natural environment, crawling on its belly and flicking its tongue as if to lick up dust, fittingly symbolized Satan’s debased condition. Having previously enjoyed a lofty position as one of God’s angels, he was consigned to the lowly condition. God continued to say to the serpent: And I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your offspring and her offspring. He will crush your head, and you will strike him in the heel.” This also shows that God was not talking to the actual animal but to Satan. So, basically Satan became as lowly as the snake that he used to tempt Eve. The Bible says that Eve was fully deceived, but Adam was not. Adam lived in the Garden for many years alone and had a close relationship with God. Eve was not alive that long. Satan used this to his advantage and that is why he approached Eve instead of Adam. Satan never approached Adam. Eve encouraged Adam to eat the fruit, and Adam chose to listen to his wife instead of God even after knowing God and having a close relationship with him for a long time.

The sin was disobedience. So why is it presumed evil for Adam and Eve to want to know good and evil? The plan for man is to eventually judge angels. How can we judge angels without knowing good and evil? In Psalm 1 we are to delight in the law of the Lord where we learn what is good and evil. People have told me that it is sin to intimately know evil insinuating that knowing evil is participating in evil. Yet God said in Genesis 3:22 that man had become like them to know good and evil. I believe it is possible that God always intended to give man the knowledge of good and evil, but with the knowledge of good and evil and the destiny to judge angels comes great power. So God wanted to teach man obedience first, which is simple trust. It is interesting that when man became woke the immediate result was guilt, which caused them to cover themselves, blame each other, and hide from God. From that point moving forward there were two paths-woke guilt and simple trust in the Promised Seed of the Woman, which is unfolding all around us today.

It is really quite amazing for those of us who have spent many repeated cycles of careful consideration (over the course sometimes of years) of these opening chapters of Genesis. There is a lifetime of unpacking involved. So much information compressed into so few, simple words of historical narration. Fit for stories to children in Daily Vacation Bible School. Yet a challenge for the most earnest student in pursuit of a full “theology” (the knowledge of God), as well as “anthropology” (an accurate knowledge of Man). Thus I am quick to say that I really appreciate your insightful comments here, because it shows that you are one who has given this particular, very basic (foundational) story, a lot of consideration. I have come to believe that it has been carefully engineered by the mind of God to provoke just that process of careful consideration, pondering, rumination, meditation, and reflection, that leads to an intimate appreciation of just who God actually is. In terms of his moral character, in other words. There is more here than simply meets the eye. A lot of seemingly low-hanging fruit turns out to be deeply significant and profound upon reflection. And I think you have come much closer than most. 13:37

Problem with your fourth point is that it doesn’t have a leg to stand on if Revelation is written before AD 90 - AD 95. In other words it’d have to be written before Domitian came into power and we all know that it wasn’t. He died in AD 96. John was on Patmos at that point, so there would be zero need to write with a bunch of symbolism to give warning about something that’s already happened… and even less of a reason for symbolism if it’s just an historical account. Revelation very much points to the Dark Ages and different periods of time all the way to the present. In every era there are anti christ prospects and potential world wide tribulation events. This happens so that we will always be ready.

Not so sure about your teaching on the Book of Revelation. I mean, it says one third of mankind will die; one third of all animals will die; one third of all the fish will die; the entire Earth will be decimated. In fact, it clearly says that unless God intervenes, nothing will be left alive. I don't quite see how this is consistent with your teaching. Did the early Christians believe that one third of everything in the world being destroyed was just apocalyptic language? Perhaps I am a little confused.

Revelation is a form of Jewish apocalyptic literature. I suggest that Christians study this book under a true New Testament historically based scholar or a messianic rabbi who will tell you what the symbolic language meant in a 1st cent context. This last days and rapture theology is fairly recent in Christian evangelical circles. Only American evangelicals would think they are being persecuted in the country or that they would escape the tribulation or that God will rapture them just because they call themselves Christian. This attitude has led to the notion that our planet will be replaced by a new planet, so its no problem is we destroy the one we have. The kingdom lies within as the Lord taught. It's already here if you get away from man made doctrine and know that Christ lives in you, your hope of glory. Its a state of mind. As we are rapidly destroying ourselves and our planet, God doesn't need to pour out his wrath. He can just allow us to reap the consequences of our own actions.

Satan suggested that God did not have their best interest at heart. That was, and is, the main problem humans have inherited from Adam, the belief that God does not have their best interest at heart. Revelation uses symbols that are explained within the bible, so it is not hard to figure out. The major thing to understand from Revelation is that Jesus is actually going to return to earth. That is one of the bible's main messages, and it is what the prophets hold up for us to look forward to. It is not a bait and switch promise of some symbolic return of Christ.

That is 120 people together in one room. It had to have been an extremely large room and an extremely large house to have fit 120 people and it started out as at least 500 people. I don't really think they would have been in the temple praying in the name of Jesus because it was the temple. The religious authority ran the temple. They wouldn't have simply let them go unaccosted praying in the name of one who they killed as a blasphemer.

Your argument appears to require we disregard and/or suspend our knowledge of Gen 3: 1, 2, 4 and 13 where the word serpent is used specifically. AmI correct that your assertion is since God said "upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life" means only then it became a "snake"? Part 1/3 It's disheartening to hear Brandon either not understand some of these "false teachings" or diminish them. I have written a 2 part comment to break down 2 of these "false teachings" that to me need to be corrected. In Scripture, the LORD says all the time "I Will" about the future. These "I will" claims whether it was about sending a global flood, freeing the Israelites from Egypt, or sending a Messiah were literal events. They were events that happened at a specific time for a specific reason. It was how the LORD proved over and over again that He knows the end from the beginning and what's sad to see in this video is the minimization of that. Sure there aren't individual mansions as in grand homes the LORD is preparing for us but there is a physical dwelling place for us that He will come back and take us to. We see that in Revelation 21 which leads me to my second beef with the video. But talking about John 14 first “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many [a]mansions (more accurately "dwelling places or rooms"); if it were not so, I would have told you. Key verse: I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. Where is Jesus going? Acts 1 9 Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, 11 who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.” Jesus went to Heaven. How do we get to Heaven (Father's house?) John 14: 4 And where I go you know, and the way you know.” 5 Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?” 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. When Jesus returns to take us to Heaven, where He has been, where He has prepared for us a dwelling place we will need to be changed. 1 Corinthians 15:50-57 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed- 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” 55 “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” 56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. We see the dwelling place that is in Heaven coming down in Revelation 21 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” 5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”...9 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came to me and talked with me, saying, “Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.” 10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, 11 having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. 12 Also she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: 13 three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west. 14 Now the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. 15 And he who talked with me had a gold reed to measure the city, its gates, and its wall. 16 The city is laid out as a square; its length is as great as its breadth. And he measured the city with the reed: twelve thousand furlongs. Its length, breadth, and height are equal. 17 Then he measured its wall: one hundred and forty-four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of an angel. 18 The construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass. 19 The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of precious stones: the first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, 20 the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. 21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass. 22 But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light. 24 And the nations [n]of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it. 25 Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there). 26 And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it. 27 But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life." Now we can call this symbolic and "apocalyptic literature" if we choose or instead we can read it as it's written and assume the city is an actual city that's in Heaven right now and will one day actually descend to earth that Jesus has gone to Heaven to actually prepare for us "His Bride". Second, let's talk about Revelation. Continued in Part 2.

Here are four teachings that are false about the bible: 1. The bible is God speaking to you as you read it. (Being inspired by God means it is written by men who knew God, guiding us to know him for ourselves) 2. The bible is inerrant. (Men have made many errors in the bible, through transcription and through translation as well as many errant interpretations) 3. Reading the bible is how you access the Holy Spirit. (The Holy Spirit lives within the hearts of those who convert to Christ and live as he requires) 4. The bible is a constant and unchanging book - GOD"S WORD. (The books in the modern canon are not consistent throughout the ages, but have changed many times in many places over the centuries. Barnabas, Clement and other books were originally included, and Jude and Revelation were not included in the early centuries of the Christian Churches. The Canon remains different between Catholics and Christians even today) The Bible is a culmination of letters written by men who knew God which are meant to guide us to God so that we might find him and know him for ourselves in a personal way. But the path that leads to life is straight and narrow, and very few there will be who will find it.

You explained that so well, that's a gift you know. I know about alot of the little mysteries in the word. Everytime i reread something more little mysteries go pop in my mind. And if i read it again something else is revealed. So amazing. Father rewards us for seeking more of Him. He is so kind, understanding, caring, ...and wants to reveal himself to us. There's so much more but people get caught up in life as satan designed. I'm so grateful that he chose me to seek until I find and as long as I'm in this flesh I will continue, because man cannot imagine the fullness of God. And ive heard it said "There wouldn't be enough space to contain all the books written of Him." Well thank you for a good video there's so much christian junk out there. Another evil tactic of our enemies. Love to All ❤❤❤ Hope something great happens soon.

What do you think of the theory that the serpent was actually a dragon, which lost its wings? :) I love how Tolkien referred to dragons as great worms. A lot like what it says in Genesis.

IMHO it was Death(Azrael) that tempted Eve, then she tempted Adam. Death was not known to be with man, it's not till after the fruit that death fell upon man. There are angels known as Seraphim that have the name Fiery ones, or aka Fiery serpents. IMHO Genesis refers to serpent, this it was this type of angel in the garden. IMHO it was not Lucifer in the garden he is not mentioned until the fall from grace. It doesn't mean he wasn't a part of it though. Scripture says he was a murder from the beginning and the father of Lies, because there is no truth in him. But I say but because of this referencing of Lucifer as a murderer, I think back to the first murder, which was that of Able. So in contrast it couldn't have been in reference to Eden.

"Apple" is a Christian / Catholic tradition that first occurred when Jerome wrote the Latin Vulgate translation of Genesis. It is a wordplay on the Latin word MALUS (think "Malice") which means "evil", but pronounces as MALAS means "apple". This is why the Christians who descended from the Roman Catholics think of an apple. Whereas the Jewish tradition often indicates that the fruit was a pomegranate said to have 613 seeds to remind us of the 613 commands given in Torah. Though obviously there are those who claimed that the fruit was a fig since they grabbed for fig leaves when they sinned.
