Maaaaaaaaaaaan, the kid i bought an old jetta from ages ago, put a really jank shorshift kit in it, then he cut the sifter its self down to a nub... I had to put that crap back in to the longest position it offered on the kit and then pipe clamp a curtain hanger rod to extend the shifter its self... Very unsafe mind you, but it did the job for the time I had it. I bet mine was no longer then the shift throws you have now after I put it in the longest position. Not saying don't get a shot shift kit, but like you was saying "Idk how much shorter you would really want the shifts to be" is a damn good thing to think about before getting such a kit. Given how small the car is and if ya elbow hits anything pulling down, then its time for a kit imo. Great little upgrades though :D Them floormats do look good!

Yeah is amazing what some people will do to their cars. I thought I was bad with doing stuff to my cars! 😂 But I totally agree it’s something to think about on the short shifter, still enjoying the car as how it was intended! These floor mats have to be my favorite! One of the best floor mats I have had in my cars!

I didn't push the button out when doing my install and that metal tab cut the f out of my hand.

I know it’s a tight space to try and squeeze your hand in. Pushing the button helps so you can see what is going on!

Is there a trick to keeping it on? Or something I’m misunderstanding? I started my car, iMT was on automatically, then I turned the car off, waited a few seconds and turned it back on, iMT was not automatically on

I have noticed the same thing. For some reason if you restart your car fairly quickly it will go to the opposite, must be a setting on Toyota ECU. Possibly if you stall out and start the car again once you already have it on, must try to keep it on. But normal day to day driving and once you turn the car off and get back in later on it will stay on.

The One Button...Why can't make it toggle on off

The button for the IMT for rev marching would default to off, no matter if you left it on the prior driving session. The dongle just reverses it and puts it always on, and you can toggle it off if you want.
