Totally agree. I think technically BH happen throughout pregnancy and you just may start to feel them in the 2/3rd tri. But that said, they definitely can be painful. Telling people that one of the ways you know it’s BH is that it’s “painless” can make new moms freak out when they experience painful BH.

I’m getting told by my doctor that I’m having contractions and will continue to have them throughout the pregnancy. I’m 28 weeks. But after hearing about Braxton Hicks, I’m 100% convinced that’s what they are. I’m so confused. Why wouldn’t I be cleared to fly if I’m just having Braxton hicks? Makes no sense.

Is there any vitamins to relax uterus? My belly is hard and tight when i'm walking or i stand up. It only gets soft when i lay down 1'm 24 weeks my OB gynecologist said there's no problem with the baby but i'm still worried because of the tightening of my stomach. I hope u can answer me

Thanks for asking! There are some vitamins that can relax the muscles but they can trigger labor. My best suggestion is for you to make sure you are drinking plenty of water and rest often to assist with contractions. Feel better!

How about round ligament pain? I feel like when i get a tightening of the uterus, if i turn one way, that pulling pain gets so intense. I also feel it a lot when I am working out or teaching my aerial hammock class. I'm currently 32wks, 45yo, 3rd "surprise" baby.
