Schlager outsmarted Ryu with technical and consistent play. Watch also the Schlager-Ma Lin match in 2004 WTTC which was a great mind game with few hi-speed rallies. Both penholders would later win the 2004 and 2008 Olympic Golds.

Classic Schlager. After the 1st set he strangled Ryu through his service/return game, and he hardly missed a 3rd ball attack. From Ryu's perspective, I imagine it felt like the grip of a preying mantis.

真的，也太誇張。 不過，看不出來這兩位選手在兩年後奪得世界錦標賽冠軍(施拉格，2003)和柳奧運金牌(柳承敏,2004)，真難得可以看到柳2004前的影片
