I gained 10 lbs on that trip and quickly lost 14 lbs when I got back. There was no way that I was going to Jamaica as a pescatarian and not eat the REAL Jamaican favourites of mine long before becoming a vegetarian then a pescatarian. All of the Jamaican food I had in 8 years of living in the capital of the Caribbean, BROOKLYN NYC, wouldn't compare to the fresh and TRUE unaltered Jamaican cuisine that I got there. I'll bring you back some and some sweet sop too ♥️♥️♥️😁😁.

@@lynettemokgano9009 Our (my friends and I) trip scheduled to fly out on January 4th 2022 was postponed until the spring or summer of 2022 due to the most recent omicron variant and we're hoping that waiting until the spring or summer will mean safer travelling out of this country and to other countries like Jamaica who (more power to them) takes Covid-19 very SERIOUSLY and we didn't want to risk getting stuck there, so we're waiting it out. Now to answer your question, I'd gladly share with you since you've reached out to me and it would be my complete pleasure too therefore costing you a big ZERO. IF it's even possible to bring seeds into this country and it not be a major hassle, I'd be most happy to share indeed. We can figure out how to stay in touch later, let me get there first...

We can find whole, giant Jackfruit in ethnic markets here in California, but sadly no Breadfruit. Some day I hope it's sold here. It's delicious in its green and firm stage as well as its soft ripe yellow stage. Boiled, steamed, baked, fire roasted until it's charred black , deep fried, mashed, cooked in a Casserole, sweet or savory, it's all good, delicious and yes, it's gluten free. That last part will surely jack the prices up sky high. Those of you that have access to abundant fruit bearing trees, enjoy it well. You are very fortunate!
