It’s 25ft by 20ft. You need a minimum of 23ft by 17ft but that will be really tight

"....'practice makes perfect' is an old and overused adage. If there is something wrong with your technique, you won't get very far, no matter how hard you practise. And even if you were to lock yourself away as a recluse for ten years with just a table and a set of balls to keep you company, you would still not emerge as an infallible genius who never missed a pot. Perfection in snooker is an impossible goal. But practice is essential for improvement, and that is what you should aim for. " Dennis Taylor.

Brilliant! Now, someone needs to make snooker (on 12 foot tables) popular in US.

@@Breakfromlife There are 10 foot snooker tables here, and the sport IS growing in popularity, so maybe I'll just count my blessings and keep practicing:)

Hi there. I am sorry but I do not know your name actually. I have been and still am watching all your contributions. I must really admit that I am checking every day if you posted an update or not. With this post I want to compliment you on all the different subjects you are covering over and over again. This is much appreciated and a pleasure to watch. Thanks and regards from Richard Mostert from Ridderkerk, The Netherlands.

Hi Richard, thanks for your kind words about the videos. They usually come out 9am Uk every Saturday. Unless something unfortunate happens. Like last Christmas when I nearly died (exaggeration). The name thing is a bit of a mystery but I’m sure will eventually be explained when I run out of ideas.

You should keep a log of "problem shots". Have a notebook filled with table diagrams and when you're playing write down any shots you either miss potting or miss your position by a large amount. You don't necessarily have to write down every miss but if you didn't feel comfortable going into the missed shot to begin with, definitely write this down! Or if it's a shot that you seem to be missing over and over again. Then, during your next practice session do the ball pocketing drills focusing on rock solid fundamentals as described in the video.
