Thanks for another common-sense, straightforward club video. Swipes are great for improving posture from slumping over a computer screen. Your video clearly shows how to perform them correctly.

Just a question viewing your swipes. Do you really (double club) let the clubs after pulling from behind the back and stacking drop down into the swing. Or do you push them a bit actively away to swing them? It looks more like the first, letting them drop. Thanks in advance! All the best!

How do you usually structure a workout with this movement, do you go for reps, for time, EMOMs...?

6-8 sets of 10-12 reps. Rest 90sec or so between each set.

what would you recommend for someone who wants to build strength and explosiveness, a steel club or Indian clubs?

I mean “both” is the best answer because I think they go hand in hand with resilience and strength (it’s why I have a ebook program called GADA Club with both integrated). But steel clubs have a lot characteristics similar to kettlebell ballistic swings with double swings, cleans, swipes, and mill patterns…so steel clubs - 15lb doubles would be best.
