Pissing off journalists is a sure-fire way to get them to be nice and report positive stories about your corrupt mega-conglomerate that demolished the luxury industry with its ruthless greed! Smooth move, Bernard. 🤣🤦🏼♀️

Have they made a formal statement about the 53 euro bags and removal of safety equipment on manufacturing machinery yet? There is no "luxury" here. Just disgusting cheap business practices and greed.

His request is nothing unusual with corporate businesses. Actually employees sign an agreement at the beginning of of employment agreeing not to speak to any type of media without written consent from corporate. Nothing new or unusual here.

They use slave labor too like the fast fashion and they charge astronomically. While saying they charge that much due to ethical practices yet they manufacture them like the fast fashion did. At least the fast fashion ones are more honest with their pricing. Haha 😅

Because it benefits taxation. In France it's 20% tax on every unecessary product. So the higher the price the higher the tax! It's unecessary so they are not going to regulate anything. Luxury is a big thing in France which is a little State compared to others western countries. So France is not going to regulate anything which would compromises the luxury industry here. People have no obligation whatsoever to buy luxury products.

Hi Dacob! I could not agree more. Mr Arnault is a piece of work. If you thought the way he tried to execute the hostile takeover of Hermes…what he did to acquire Louis Vuitton was even worse. He is a very sinister back stabbing businessman…….when I found out what he did to take over LV it really put a bad taste in my mouth about the brand…when it’s his greed that is the issue. Chil…….he be a big crazy trip!

Not defending this but, technically banning your employees from speaking to someone (is onesided) does not prevent the news outlets or reporters from reporting. They just don’t get invited to the nice and shiny events and won’t get inside info….
@ayaskovi3 ай бұрын
Since brands like Chanel are dropping quality how easy it would be to oversell them? Accessories like bags are super low investment in terms of material! Most could be spent on advertising. Make something of quality and invest in adds! Luxury empires are way TOO comfortable! They make crappy product and are shocked consumers are not jumping up to get it!

covered luxury sector (when there was one, amongst other sectors) and generally like and get along well with all people; have met Arnault countless times and he is not a good person + has been this way since met in latter 90's; always trying to pull a fast one, scam, deceiving and sure didn't let on that I was fluent in French, lol -- he has placed all his kids in positions to keep that generational wealth a'flowing - was devastated when LVMH bough TIF, a once great American institution, now no longer sadly, the price increases since buy are insane -- LVMH is a publicly traded company, wonder if any legalities in FRA that may prevent cherry picking who can/can't speak to 🤔

Because they don’t care that much. Lol Most rich/wealthy people aren’t wasting time watching videos and many aren’t even on SM. If they are it’s far and few because they’re spending their time on more important things….
