I’ve been thinking about just how Wolverine goes from sleeves to no sleeves and I may have figured it out. Pretty simple actually, if there is a Wolverine vs Hulk in the movie, and this is a rated R movie, it makes sense that we see Hulk rip both of Wolverine’s arms off. Boom, no sleeves but his arms regenerate.

Even if Patrick Stuart wanted to continue playing Charles Xavier, there's no knowing how much longer he will live. And even if he does live, there's no telling how his health will hold out. If he loses his ability to walk, he could still play Professor X, but if he loses his hearing, sight or ability to speak, then his character would be finished.
