I really don’t know how I found you but in a desperate time for me I did. I was in pain in my abdomen and after my family doctor sent around to several doctors and even a stint in my kidneys I rejected awful and a second opinion I did not need. Thanks for this one! Tried it right before bed. Fell into a deep sleep immediately afterward. My sleep was the most efficient it’s been since I’ve been tracking it for a few months. My HRV clocked in 37 ms above my average (from 71 ms to 107 ms). It’s never been that high before. (HRV: heart rate variability-the measurement of average milliseconds between heartbeats as an indicator of autonomic central nervous system health and wellness/recovery). I believe it was due to this breathing practice. I’m going to keep doing this before bed.

This exercise has made a huge difference in my insomnia over the past few months, and I’m truly grateful. It’s become a key part of my nightly routine, and I even do it sometimes in the mornings to help get grounded. Is it common to feel a bit lightheaded/near passing out during the exhale after holding my breath? I don’t actually think I’m going to pass out, but it feels like some kind of energy shift within my body and I’m not sure if I should be concerned or if it’s part of the magic. It’s a good feeling, but I definitely notice that sensation.

I have made the same experience with getting light headed. Don‘t worry it is normal. Even if you pass out it will just be for a few seconds but if you feel that it is too much just inhale slowly to get some oxygen quickly. It helps :))

that was AMAZING i did that the first time!!! after the first round i had to cry, after the second round i had to vomit and after the third round i just fell back from my seating position and was laughing so hard as you said 'keep laughing' i was like LOVE YOUU i feel great now, see you on boom next year ☀️❤️😊
