Very useful. As someone who developed copd in my 40's I'm physically fit and strong but my lungs are extremely poor and damaged. I find you advise great. Thanks. You now have an extra "like" and a new subscriber! Now I need to take a deep breath! 👍

Hi this is so brilliant! Thanks so much. What breathing technique would recommend to lower the resting heart rate for someone with stress/anxiety and pre hypertensive
@ExerciseForHealth2 жыл бұрын
Slower, deeper breathing focusing on a longer exhale would be best to balance the Autonomic Nervous System and reduce sympathetic nervous system activity.

I am 63, 64 in November. I have COPD from my 40 years of smoking. I am trying to find exercises on my Nintendo ring fit that i can use to help improve my lung transfer of o2 to blood. I am looking at the game because walking and having to sit on curb to catch my breath leads to people being nice and asking if i need an ambulance.

Dr Axe I had an adrenalectomy 9 years ago and have found that I don’t deal well with stress at all and recently I went from mild hypothyroidism to severe hypothyroidism after a stressful job change. Will this help?

It can't do any harm so try it and see if it helps you.

Hi, Do you have any respiratory strengthening exercises for high-level quadriplegics? THANKS
@ExerciseForHealth2 жыл бұрын
Not specifically, and it's not something I've come across before myself, so wouldn't want to advise. Can you get input from/ access to a physio who can advise you something specific?

Is this helpful in hypertension?
