Also Notice High Ram usage (120-185Mb). Not sure if it's normal or it's just in my case. What I've observed that it happens after opened once and exit or its buze of manual OS restart.

I am eagerly awaiting Pop OS 24.04 stable release with the new cosmic desktop. That will be the time when i will switch to Linux on my PC aswell. My Dev Laptop is running Ubuntu since i have it. Man i cant wait for leaving this OS behind me besides for a minority of Games that need anti-cheat. Are you guys also so sick of Windows? The 24.04 release dissaster was the nail in the coffin for me personally. I would like to hear your opinions on it.

I just switched to Linux Mint version 22 in November 2024 and I am very satisfied with it. It does everything I need it to, the GUI is much like Windows 7, it is fast, and it doesn't spy on you either! Never going back to Windows.

@ Mint is truly the most user friendly and stable version of linux. I prefer the more modern design of gnome and cosmic but if i had to choose one distro to use for the rest if my life, it would be mint.

I just bought a new pc build for my wife on December 29th, the computer store game me and iso that installed 24h2, my system is still stuck on 23h2 even though i have auto updates in the on position, unsure why it wont update to 24h2. any input would be great. thanks

MS is doing a delayed roll out of this version. It may be that MS chose to be careful due to issues with that version update. Be patient you'll see it soon.

I'm still on 23H2 Beta and for now don't want to update to 24H2. Can someone tell me what are the biggest issues/bugs that still have to be fixed? Some people tell me that they have or had internet connection issues with certain drivers, some say 24H2 slowed down their PCs, others had various problems and reverted back to 23H2, etc. I would appreciate it then if someone could tell me if it is worth updating to 24H2 (?).

You can freeze yourself on 23H2 using group policy on Windows 11 Pro. It is called something like target feature release.
