I love this quick morning yoga routine because it engages all of the major muscle groups, like the legs, the core, and the back. I incorporate a lot of twists to bring some flexibility to the spine, as well as some deep hamstring and hip stretches. I pair this yoga routine with breathing to help deepen the yoga poses so that you can feel a deeper stretch. This routine is great for beginners because the poses are simple, but challenging enough for regular practitioners because it covers all major areas of the body for a truly full-body stretch!

@@BrettLarkinYoga I say this because people are obsessed with stretching their hamstrings and thus have over tightened quads. It's nice you balance it up in such a short time!!

This routine is so good. I work in archaeology and do a lot of heavy lifting, walking, and crouching in awkward positions that make me really tight. Nothing resets my body like this routine.

@@BrettLarkinYoga I always do! You are one of my favourite YT teachers! Your 6 mins quad stretch is one of my favourite go to videos. I struggle with quad stretches because I don't do them regularly, but I know I need to do them! So those 6 mins are enough to keep me going and I try to add them into routine. Once I master them then I will go on to longer quad stretching videos! Looool 6 mins is just enough for now. While l'm here, can I request if you can do some Yin and Yang videos for opening the chest and shoulders please? Also some twist and binds for beginners! I know. I don't want much do I? 😝Do have a wonderful day beautiful lady! 🧘🏾‍♀️🖐🏾🙏🏾🧘🏾‍♀️☀️ 💖🧡💛💚💙💜🖤

Hello, Brett! First, a big thanks for your great videos! Second, could you be so kind and tell me how long after waking up should we do this or any other morning yoga routines? Maybe we should wait a bit and not do them right after waking up... I really wonder. What would be the optimal time to wait after getting up before we do our morning yoga routine?
