It would have been interesting to measure flow throughput on the sprayers during the test. In the distance test it looked like the flowzone had a higher output and I wonder how much it sprayed in its 2 hours vs the solo in its 4 hours.

Thanks for taking the time to make this video. The big problem with the Milwaukee is its well-earned reputation for lacking durability. I'm a team Team Red guy. Milwaukee makes fantastic kit. That said, the Milwaukee Switchtank is the worst tool I've ever owned. Multiple leaks and outright failures. And when it is running, the white plastic elbow has a screen that clogs constantly. Milwaukee was great with regard to customer service. They replaced the unit twice and tank three times. Just called and gave the serial number. Eventually, I had enough. Bought a Typhoon 3. Night and day difference. Anyone who is considering the Milwaukee needs to read the reviews on Home Depot, etc. Total POS.

I just bought a Flow Zone sprayer and one of the reasons I picked it was that the parts are available, something to consider. I saw a review on the Chapin and the reviewer said you had to send the Chapin in for repair, I don't know if this is common or not. I really like it and now I have to let my original hand pump backpack I bought in the 1970's go and it still works fine.
@seabreezeof4 жыл бұрын
You get a thumps up for all the work to demostrate, use to use quite a few Birchmier hand pump versions to prevent contamination, back in the day. Any experience with the 18V Ryobi, probably on the lines of the Black & Decker/Chapin... Nice to now have the battery versions.

Great review. The only feature I think you missed about the Milwaukee is the switch tank feature. Being able to have additional tanks with different chemicals and not cross contaminate can be a HUGE asset. It would be interesting to have measured the actual amount sprayed during the spray marathon. Of course you could get an extrapolated result by just timing 4 gal in each doing some math. The actual full duration will be a bit less as voltage does drop over time, no matter what they say about Li Ion batteries, their is a distinct difference between a 1/4 charge battery and a full one. Other than that, well done, Sir.

Hey Brett. thanks for taking the time to make this video. I believe the B&D is a constant pressure sprayer with a 20V, 1.5A battery, the Flowzone is a variable pressure sprayer with a high output pump powered by a 11v, 7.8A battery, the Milwaukee has a five pressure setting control with an 18V, 3A battery, and the Solo has a low (32psi.) and a high (62psi) pressure settings powered by an 11V, 7.8A battery. I believe that this pump would have lasted the longest only because it is designed to push 5gal. of water versus four. I'm curious as to what the pressure settings were for the Solo, Flowzone, and Milwaukee when the spray timing was conducted. Thanks again for taking the time to make this video. BTW the yard looks amazing!
