Best way to avoid bad customers is to never work at places that allows you to work with them. Work at an industrial factory or somethin’. As an Uber driver, I approve this video. My very first night out all went well, until... About 3am I pick a guy up, a women at a gentleman's club ordered the ride for him, he's drunk as hell. For the 15 mile ride he went through so many mood swings, called me dad at least 20 times. Finally we get to his house, then he refuses to get out. Far as I could tell he was a vet in his late 30s and I'm a small guy, I cant fight him if I upset him with his mood swings. Uber has a feature where you can text the police and after 15 minutes they finally arrive and gets him out of my car. Hell of a first night, I still drive.

He then asked if I drink in front of my kids and I told him no, my kids have never seen me drunk and he patted me on the shoulder and told me (i wish you were my dad).

Not sure where you live, but if you’re in the us they have emergency housing vouchers for hotels and motels. There’s also rental assistance who will pay your rent if you can’t pay it. Usually state/government websites have info on who to call. If those aren’t options, if you can afford it, get a gym membership. There’s a place to park your car, showers, a temperature controlled environment. If you can also afford it, I recommend a Costco membership. Hella free samples, and they sell gigantic hotdogs for like $1.50 Amazon hires on the spot online, and a lot of them allow you to withdraw your paycheck early. You can cash out after every shift. This reminds me of a time I was doing Doordash with my Dad during High School a few years back during Summer Break. One order we had was at a BBQ joint, but the Burger they ordered only had Onions. Like a ton of onions, so much that it stunk up the whole car, and we had to put it in the trunk. We pull up to the house, follow the instructions to leave it on the doorstep and not a second later this dude who looks half drunk takes the food and quickly vanishes. My Dad was able to take a picture of the orders receipt and still tells the story to this day. But to this day that car still smells like rotten onions, and made me never want to do food delivery ever again.

My dad does Uber for some extra money, and one time this dude drops a blunt in the car and his car smelled like weed for a good 3 weeks. Unfortunately when we first notice the smell we couldn't figure out where it was until my hand touched it while looking under the car seats. Still grosses me out to this day

If you're serious about the stink, just get an ozone generator - plug it in, turn it on, leave it in the car for a few hours, bam! no more stink. Buddy at work uses one to de-stinkify the work trucks due to all the fish plants we work at and dead critters we deal with. Good stuff. Your car will stink like ozone for a few days (think old giant photocopier smell), but that wears off.

That's also one of the reasons I pretty much stopped doing uber eats. Especially when people order from seafood style restaurants. Stinks everything up bad. That and when you keep getting fares that are on the other side of town from where you are and where you live, and if you take it, then you keep getting further and further away ones, and suddenly it's like an hour drive just to get home.

About a week ago I started watching your animations. I have to say your recollection of life mimics mine closely. I have a friend David that had all the cool shit, stay home "sick" with my grandma watching Price is Right, worked at Toys R Us seasonal in the back (not building bikes just picking big box items), had shitty eyesight in school but faked not to not get glasses, played Little League, part of Cub Scouts, destroy at Monopoly, tried the spiked hair look in middle school (but mine stuck), used to camp in my friend's backyard and wrestle each other on the trampoline with our own entry music then go play Nintendo, had that one friend with a really smelly house, the one friend that told the most outrageous lies, used to hide in the dryer playing hide-and-seek, made bike jumps with my shitty mountain bike, started at University ended up in Community College and some other things I can't even remember right now. I laughed the first few coincidences then it got to being uncanny. Maybe that's just a typical 90s childhood lol
