STARGATE UNIVERSE kicked off with an epic 3-part episode, "Air," which found the reluctant crew of the Destiny struggling to survive on a derelict Ancient vessel on the edge of the universe. In the third installment Lt. Matthew Scott (played by actor Brian J. Smith) leads a mission to a desert planet to try and save everyone from asphyxiation.
Smith sat down with "Dial the Gate" host David Read to talk about filming on location in White Sands, New Mexico, and what he remembers from his first day filming on SGU - as well as his last day, on the second-season finale "Gauntlet." He also talks about how the show has stood the test of time, and continues to find its full audience years later.
This clip is from Dial the Gate's full-length, 55-minute conversation with Brian. Watch the full interview here: • 193: Brian J Smith Par...
