Last time I saw a video of his grave someone had left a note on their flowers reading No Jones, No Stones. Brian had quite a nice speaking voice. I always get his demise mixed up with Keith Moon but I guess there are similarities. Rock stars live hard and play hard and unfortunately sometimes it ends with their lives being cut short. Forever 27, forever young. RIP Brian, if it weren’t for you we wouldn’t have had the Rolling Stones

Jan Bell, the daughter of Frank Thorogood, Jones’s builder-cum-minder who was present at Jones’s farm on the night of his death. Her father told her that he intervened in the row between Jones and Richards, she claimed. She said that her father had told her a number of years ago that on the day of Brian’s death, Messrs Mick JAGGER and Keith RICHARDS visited Brian JONES at the farm in the morning and her father was present when Brian was asked by both men whether he would give up the name of the “Rolling Stones” to them and agree to a financial settlement. Brian apparently declined to do so and it is alleged that Keith RICHARDS drew a knife. It is suggested that THOROGOOD calmed them down and both JAGGER and RICHARDS left the house. Nice one Alan, strangely i have been looking into his history recently and nothing adds up on that night he died. because if you could see somebody was in difficulty you would go to there aid, the only alternative would be that he see him in difficulty and walked away and left him to die, or he did actually hold him under the water. i no they took frank thorogood in for questioning but i think they made a total mess of it because did owe him money for work, he had done but brian wasnt happy because he stretched the work out, and at one point the cielling inside the house collapsed and nearly killed somebody, because of shoddy workmanship, people said brian socialised to much with him and he took advantage of it instead of keeping it professionel. My personel opinion is he did murder him, or walked away when he see he got into trouble.
@MotorHomeBeepBeep3 ай бұрын
Hello James, i didn't know all that information about the poor workmanship and I guess coupled with the fact that money was old there was some tension there. Very strange. If you're both in the same pool, you tend to feel there's something untoward and especially with the confession many years later. Very strange story. I guess we'll never ever know.
