I have been in a similar situation with my ex, living with his family for 2 years. His family didn't like me or care about me, but they "tolerated" me. They only allowed us to be there because it meant having HIM home with them. His mother interfered with our life all the time, talking bad about me behind my back, yet pretending to be friendly when I was around. I have a feeling it was exactly the same thing with Gabby. That they let them live there, because it meant their golden child Brian was home with them. So they tolerated her. But never loved or cared about her. Same with Cassie. That's why no one is really too upset about her death. Maybe the only ones who really miss her are Cassie's kids. Everyone else doesn't seem to care, because she just wasn't important to them. And maybe even in her death they see her as a nuisance and blame her for all they're going through right now and the fact that Brian is now on the run.

If so how can she 'see Brian spend 6 hours with him at the camp without 'talking' to him? How can brian visit her at home without Gabby and not talk to her? She however revealed that he visited her in his mustang and not the van. That means he had been home and parked the van in the garage before driving off to 'confess' to his sister.

I know you think that but I also know you wouldn't volunteer to end his life. This is a death penalty case. Truly think about it- would you surrender your child to the state for summary execution (which will happen at the end of this) or hand them a backpack of food, tell them you love them, get as far away as possible and Honduras isn't far enough, and fuck off? You can preach all day about morality but if your son was going to be snuffed from existence you'd probably give him one last fighting chance because that's how we're hardwired. I have no daughters your son could theoretically murder, so I have no dog in this fight other than morbid curiosity- would someone give up their offspring without the threat of force and end their family name for morality? Fascinating question. Society is a massive driving force. But so is evolution. Nature vs nuture, ami' right?
