Brain is one of the all time greatest comics. What is really telling is that when you first hear his stuff you don't even notice that it's all clean, because you're too busy laughing. He's honestly the closest to Bill Cosby at his peak of anyone (unfortunate comparison due to recent events, but Cosby's albums are what every comedian that came up in the 80s grew up listening to, and IMHO Brian is even funnier than Cosby was.)

A great many years ago, I was in the ER with what turned out to be a sizable kidney stone. And I got morphine, and I could have gone duck hunting with a rake. The ER nurse told me, for men, this was the equivalent of labor pains for a woman. I thanked God he let women have babies.

I had a kidney stone. They gave me morphine, but if the nurse told me I didn't hear her as I kept grunting, "God, Jesus" over and over and over. After some time I asked the nurse what she gave me. I was still in pain. She replied, "Morphine." I asked, desperately, "Can you give me some more?" It was hell.

I was given tickets to see him. I’d listened to him forever. We had just moved from Chicago to Salt Lake City. He just barely put on a show. Went from disappointed to angry. I’m 100% certain it wasn’t the show I would’ve seen in Chicago. Truly pathetic. Saw Jim Gaffigan about 3 months later and had a great time. He gave it everything like an actual pro
