I remember there was a guy who left college football to play for a semi pro team out there when Walter was diagnosed because the team owner promised him a meeting with Payton. And also a tryout with Bears if he ripped it because a RB from team had just done that yr before but failed his drug test for weed when offered spot on practice squad. He ended up rag dolling entire O line on second day of practice after beating out QB on first day. Dude was like a white DT n LT mashup. He wasn't able to finish the season but a few guys from champion team got spots on lions. The next yr Bears had a new Lb wearing his #54 and after that picked up the kid from Arizona who grew up watching him play. Can only imagine how the Brady, Manning nonsense and rule changes wld never happen after that kind display of defensive dominance. WP died during his bus ride home. See the RB offered spot on practice squad was back out there with miss matching socks and lint in his hair causing the SAC master roommate to be discouraged and move to be a fighter because he was supposed to be starting RB. Now that's a Chicago Bear story 😎 they say he was definitely capable of producing a 28 Sac season

I’ve never known a GM to willingly give away draft Capital; you’d be in the same spot in the draft if you let them compete, assuming you love the rookie u pick him, this was never about A or B it’s about what’s best for Bears.; JT earned that much. At that point if you want to trade one of them by game 4-9 it may be JT that wins undo t know. I. Either case you end up with a draft haul since the League boxed u in w trade value. If u we’re going to reset as it were firing EberFlush went with that. So what’s going on here? Really. Was a huge NBA fan in the late 80's all through the 90's when the game was strategic and defense was played, todays NBA is like watching the all-star game back then because of all the rule changes, very little defense just running up and down the court shooting 3's.
