The death of Razen should be a warning that power isn't everything. Rimaru basically one shotted a mage on par with a lesser demon lord like Geld the orc disaster. That was only using a tiny bit of his power in a concentrated specialized spell. Rimaru can target vitals and tank people with small amounts of his power vs what they have. Let's say that Rimaru used like 1,000 MP in that laser attack out of his pool of 500K....to take out Razen, a mage who's power was greater than Geld or Hakuro's at over 75K. That' amazing efficiency

Well, it is Rimuru that we are talking here so..yup. But that's not all. The anime didn't explain how the skill Megiddo works, which is probably for time convenience. Megiddo works on logic not magic. Rimuru created the skill by using a pool of water exposed to sunlight which then heats the water up till it gets hot enough to penetrate shields. After that he floated little drops of water around the enemies. Then, he basically reflected a drop of the heated water through the little droplets to kill the enemies at the desired spot, like in the head or chest. For example, it's like reflecting sunlight using mirror to scorch something. Since Megiddo works through logic or how Rimuru calls it a natural phenomenon, Razen has no way to block the skill as it is way out of his field. The same with the soldiers, even if they have the strongest shield or barrier, it will all be useless if they can't understand how the skill works. Its like putting a magical barrier in front of a physical attack.

Those are the 3 that the big bad guys that appear later on in the story are worried about most. It's not that Rimaru the slime demon lord is equal to the others in raw energy amount (although he is very close), But it's his efficiency and the results he can get for very little expenditure that has the enemy on edge.

Not a spoiler. Must had been explained at this point. Demon is a race. Demon lord is a title. Any race can be demon lord. In demon race 7 primordial demons are royalties and are strongest. These 7 are recognised by their distinct color. The one rimuru summon is black. These 7 have lived for millions of years. Demon lord is the title given to a person who had a seed and went through harvest festival. A highest level demon can also evolve to demon lord through this and become even stronger. Ancient means atleast 10k years since they became DL. Mid level are 1k-10k. Young ones are 100-1k. All young are seed level. Power level also follows. Guy and millim are strongest.

Primordial Demon, means he is one of the original ones, they are 7, and all of them are given a colour, this guy is "Kuro" from the shizu Ova Kuro means "black" those this demon is the Black primordial demon. Nice! You're one of the very few reactions I've seen who notice Raphael is the one in control during the revival! That's really, really rare, for some reason.... Anyways, the whole Words of the World thing is an old phenomena in that world; it was these 'Words' which announced Satoru's revival/reincarnation into the new world, as well as all his skill acquisitions, including Great Sage. In other words, they predate Sage, both in lore, and in appearance. They skipped over it in the anime (cut content, what can you do?), but while Great Sage was 'calibrating' after slime-boi's arrival, it was decided it needed a way to communicate with Rimuru more directly, so began making use of the Words of the World in order to communicate directly. There was also a scene when the Orc Disaster was evolving, where the Words also made an appearance to announce it, and Rimuru got confused for a moment before realizing that wasn't Great Sage. The evolution thing is actually completely unusual; especially in that it was a 'request', directly from a Skill, at that. Skills aren't supposed to have 'consciousness', let alone the ability to act or decide things independently from their users, but Great Sage has been developing a sort of proto-consciousness over time. This was the first time it had directly acted on 'it's own will', as it were, but there were hints in the LN before this (took over part of Predator for itself was the first big one, but all that was cut...). Sure, it was acting 'on it's own', but it was still trying to best serve it's master, Rimuru, and help him accomplish his wishes.

In season 1 episode 24, Shizu fought Black (aka Noir), and they eventually became allies of convenience. Black is not a name; the progenitors are simply designated by a color word to distinguish them. It didn't really explain who/what progenitors were, but they are high above even arch-demons. (The word "progenitor" itself suggests something like, "the one who came before, or first".) We also learned that White and Red exist, but they had no part in the episode. At the very end, the tag was that this was, in a sense, Rimuru's first meeting with him (via Shizu and her mask), and that he would eventually summon him and give him the name, Diablo. (Which means he gets even more powerful!!) Black also appeared in one of the OVA episodes, helping the kids and their teacher. The kids were unconscious when he appeared, but the teacher had to swear never to tell anyone about him.

This episode really make me repeat it more than 10 times , the hype and the revenge is beyond satisfying and with Brian and Steph reaction it just make it more better, Ningens deserves it .
