I LOVE Tan, but this partial episode thing is TERRIBLE! Both dresses looked outstanding on the respective women. That golden dress made that young woman positively glow and that Jessica Rabbit-esque dress was stunning! Tan definitely has a great eye!

I also really felt this. My maternal grandparents are from Egypt but my mother and I grew up in Germany. I am basically white culturally and I love Germany and I like being German. But Egypt is still in me and sometimes I cry because I feel like I don't know my roots and sometimes I am jealous of arabs in Germany that get to have a deep connection to their roots. In terms of ethnicity and culture I don't really know who I am and if I still somehow belong to Egypt besides belonging to Germany. I wish I could be both but it seems that you always need to decide and commit to one side....

Gemma talking about her Grandma's passing opened the floodgates for me. I know that feeling since I lost mine in 2020 to natural causes at 93. 😭 And those Indian Clothes always take my breath away. That first one especially made my jaw drop! India always has stunning clothes for traditional events like Weddings. And I like this show! The International shows are so much better then here in America. 😊

This version really shows the difference between TV back then and TV now. TV back 'then' was all about the bride, her moment, and finding a dress that fit her. TV now is more about the 'personality' that's getting her the dresses, more drama, and cliff hangers. Bride, however, looked beautiful in everything she tried on! Her and her groom are very sweet, and I love her relationship with her Nan. I wish her and the groom the most happiness! I feel bad that she feels like she's stuck between worlds in a way. It goes to show, also, how toxic this whole labeling and stuffing people into categories this whole thing is.

The bride says…… I don’t know if I’m too white or too Asian.🤔 Well…. White/pale is a colour/Shade….. and Asia is a continent. 🤷🏻‍♀️ And there’s lots of “white” Asians…. As 95% of Russia is in Asia & is predominantly “white”. And don’t forget about Chinese & Japanese…. Their skin is White/pale also.🤷🏻‍♀️
