Bless you. My 3 bridesmaids rejected all my choices with my mother's support. I was determined to stay in the budget for them. So we got a pleasant long pale lilac dress that flattered them all. A tornado hit the night before my wedding nearby. My groom and his groomsmen were police officers who spent rehearsal night before the wedding at the scene of the disaster. All afternoon at my wedding and during photos the bridesmaids complained to me the Bride that they were too cold, or too windy, or some other whine. I wanted to shoot them all. LMFAOO when the man of honor was like, that dress is ugly, and amber argued I was like, hmmm, let’s see who knows the bride better. And then as soon as she came out she SHOT THAT DOWN, I had 11 bridesmaids in my wedding, and none said anything about their dresses, except any problems they had with fit etc. they were pale pink and I knew one girl had never worn that color or a dress like that in her life, but she was perfectly happy doing it for me.

I think she's really hurt. Her fiancé and Renee's fiancé are best friends...They hit it off and became really close- so they are basically 'best couple' (for a lack of term). So the dynamic is huge between the couples and important. Amber made Renee her Maid of Honor over any of her other friends and her fiancé is likely to be Roberto's best man and Roberto is his best man. So... out of the dynamics of the 4... she's the one put aside (and doing so- let's Amber know her place In Renee's mind) and it appears for a guy because he's got 'fashion sense' - and now being told she's suppose to be happy for Renee and her man of honor (who also gets a say in what Amber gets to wear). We also don't know how close to the taping Amber was told about the arrangement.- or if Amber was asked first and then moved back for him. Which being salty is understandable. I do agree... it's Renee's wedding, Renee's the boss and it's Renee's way period for what goes on that day and Amber does needs to 'know her place' as far as Renee is concern- but Renee needs to keep in mind- she has a bridesmaid outfit coming - and Amber is allowed to return the favor of dismissing Renee's opinion on what's she's wearing at Amber's wedding and Renee should in turn- acquiesce to Amber's wishes for her wedding.

I wore a dress that I hated, that didn't really look great on me. But I didn't complain. I was the maid of honor and I did everything my friend wanted down to my hairstyle and ear rings. It was her day, NOT mine. She liked it on me, cool. Loved my hair, cool. She had a beautiful wedding and loved everything. That's what I wanted for her. It was my job to make her day easier.
