A few bridge crossings from a different location. The Falls River video is right by the first bridge and the Thanks For Watching last video is Keweenaw Bay.

Different locations here and yes, what happened to the snowy winter. It's not just there. The midwest is pretty much dry. Thanks for sharing!! ☃☃☃

I really enjoy your choice of different locations, when filming the trains. It's nice to have different locations and views of the trains, and everything else. Your walk and talks, are my favorites. Videos of train stations, new or old, are a favorite of mine as well. Actually, everythjng you do, is very interesting. Your commentary is priceless! Thank you.

Thank you Walter! The end of April we plan to journey downstate to Port Huron and Imlay City and Lapeer and maybe Flint to catch more train action as well as visit family!!

Here it is almost the end of february maybe they'll start the track crews early on tie work. I'm not certain if they are either for storage or if they are to be sold but some older CN ballast toppers turn up stashed north of Iron Mountain on the E&LS

I liked the new location to video the train arriving in L'Anse, Michigan, Nancy! In the past you have had to stand on the U.S. 41 bridge over the Falls River to catch the train going over the railroad bridge over the Falls River. You also found a new location to video the train shoving the cars toward the Koppers plant. The view of the train coming from L'Anse, Michigan across the Dault's Creek bridge was a good shot.

Hi Nancy. Do any trains go beyond lance or is it a dead end?
@robertbaker26284 ай бұрын
They do go up thought Baraga but if I remember from what Nancy told us they are going to pull up the track back to L'Anse.
@nancyhaun4 ай бұрын
The CN only goes as far as the switch after they cross Lambert Rd. Baraga is another mile further!

Hey Nancy. that was refreshing. I have wanted to share with you for a while that watching the two engines back to back always reminds me of Dr. Dolittle 's Push-Me-Pull-You. Does that make me strange? I was wondering; is there a yard near L'Anse where they cut the cars? Maybe they just do it with sidings. I'd go there on google earth if I knew where to look. OK, FB. Thank you. ben/ michigan from under dah bridge eh.

They do that in the Koppers yard across the highway from where the CN comes in and switches engines!

This is the CN short line from Euclid Yard in Ishpeming. They pick up the cars from Gladstone in Partridge and deliver them to Euclid for the Mineral Range and Koppers in L'Anse.

Nancy, what do they actually do with the ties. Do they sell them to landscapers or....?
@nancyhaun4 ай бұрын
The ties are processed at Koppers for future burning at the Biomass Plant in L'Anse.
