Hi Steve, I love your videos, thank you very much, they gave me much more confidence to fine tune my 1541-S. I do have a question or maybe a suggestion: I understand from the manual, that there is a way to adjust the backward stitchlength to the normal stichlength. In my case, the backstitch is a tiny bit too short and after some 5 stitches (at 6mm) does not match anymore, leading to an untidy appearance, specially on the lower thread. Would you be willing and able to provide a tutorial or some help on that matter? I am in Colombia and the tecnical service here for a 1541 is basics only, if any and I don´t trust them on such a delicate issue.

Hey Steve, the needle keeps hitting and scarring the bobbin in my machine .Can it be fixed this way or what do I need to do.

Thanks for the video. I accidentally put a scissor underneath the needle and when i switched the machine on, the needle hit the scissor and broke. Now my machine can't sew. What might be the reason? Was needle holder affected 😢

Needle bar timing probably.

@Sewinggold thanks for your kind reply. it seems the needle now goes deeper than normal into its holder. When i lower it, it works. Any permanent solution to this
