How to Clean & Rebuild a Briggs & Stratton Intek V-Twin Engine Carburetor. I show you how to remove, clean and reassemble the carburetor on a Briggs and Stratton Intek engine. If some of the rubber gaskets or O rings are damaged and your carburetor is leaking gas you may need to order a rebuild kit and replace the rubber gaskets.

How is the spring connected on the throttle arm? Mine came off and I am not sure how it hooks up. Also should the throttle arm swing pretty freely or should it be really tight?

That's what I have. I can't figure out how the linkage goes back, on the left rod as you face the carb. It's got a white plastic piece on it that I can't connect to the swinging "arm."
