Ok, before I start watching. You have no idea how much this song means to me. It helped me through a tuff time in my life where I listened to this song like every night. I just found out the leadsinger of maybe the most importand band of my life, that influenced my taste in music and overall thinking so much, committed suicide. This song is all I need right now and thank you THANK YOU for this reaction.

the song is a true story, about a boy that was murdered by Oli's cousin and some other kids back in 2000's in the forest I think-

yeah he was like 17 I believe. His name was Terry Hurst and in the beginning of the song a scythe was mentioned and that was what Terry was murdered with in the woods.

If you are wondering what this song is about, it’s about Oliver Sykes the lead singer of BMTH his cousin took his friends to a forest and slaughtered them with a “scythe”. Very beautiful song I love it. But also can be emotional.

Ok just so you know, Oli Sykes is atheistic. All his lines about god aren't really religios. He uses god, heaven and hell as metaphors. This is from the album "there is a hell believe me I've seen it, there is a heaven let's keep it a secret" Just this title is powerful, just like any other mention to god in there Songs. So yea nothing religios :)

This is a sad song, it's about a teenage boy called Terry Hurst who had learning difficulties and was lured into the forest by 3 kids who slaughtered him and beat him to death. If you look the story up it's way worse than I just described. He was oli's friend why he mentioned brother, and 1 of oli's cousins was 1 of the murderers 😱
