Joy Crookes is a British neo-soul singer songwriter of Bangladeshi-Irish decent. The dress she wore is called a lehenga, a more casual version of a sari. The crop top is called a blouse. the head wrap is actually is a dupatta, a long piece of fabric which it to be draped around the dress. So, her outfits pretty much serve their intended purpose and she enjoys them. Luke definitely voiced a double standard which is disappointing. :( If you've followed her even pre-Buffalo Stance days when she was in the Slits and Rip, Rig & Panic, she was always a trendsetter mixing African head wraps and Gaultier, street fashion with luxury. I think it would behoove him to do some homework (let's start with pronouncing her name correctly--not NAYNAY, it's just like how it's written.)

I don't like the looks Billie wears at all. Like not even a little. I love her but her outfits look like something a rich French Canadian granny would wear. It's frumpy. She's a beautiful girl, and she doesn't need a typical girly gown or anything. Just something more flattering in fit for her.
