0:07 Not sure why people keep saying this. Sure, 10+ years ago we were getting OS releases every few years, but it was a different time back then and the release of Windows 10 changed that. They've only really scratched the surface with 11 and many haven't even upgraded to it yet... I can't see why they'd move on from it in just 2 years since it was potentially 10 years in the making. I'd expect at least another 5 years before we see a successor.

I've never understood MS' insistence that taskbar pinning 'lets you see exactly what's running' when not having stuff pinned means if it's there, it's running. Is there any way to uninstall this update? Because the new Explorer is much slower and lags a lot. I already uninstalled the update using Settings > Windows Update > Update history > Uninstall updates. But the only thing that has changed is that the old settings are back and the Copilot with some other new programs has disappeared. Everything else left unchanged, for example, I still have the "Dev Home (Preview)" app (I don't even know what it is) and a new laggy explorer with new bugs.

It is utterly incomprehensible and unacceptable that Microsoft persists in its failure to reintegrate the alternate positioning (bottom, side, top) of the taskbar, despite the glaring inadequacy and redundancy of the current features. The company's continued negligence in this regard, especially in the face of tens of thousands of user complaints demanding its reimplementation, is indicative of a significant disconnect with user needs and a blatant disregard for consumer feedback. It is imperative that Microsoft addresses this issue promptly and efficiently to rectify this glaring oversight and align the software with user preferences and requirements.

Nic video Brian personally I don't like the new sipping tool and have the older version because I find it much easier to use and I don't like the idea of Microsoft backing my system up I am quite happy with the external and internal back drives to do it myself. Installed on older hardware? i wouldn't bet on it. Microsoft added the unrealistic requirement with the TPM chip and people have complained but still they keep the requirement. sudo apt-get full-upgrade -y In the cmd and let the computer do the things and done. No reboot or cover screens that block your desktop. Wait... that is linux stuff.. sorry bro. Microsoft steal so much things and functions from linux so its hard to keep them apart at times. Leave your computer running over night and it should have updated and rebooted when you wake up, Windows keep rebooting my computer for no reason every night update or not so i think it will solve it. If you have issues update you can use "windows update health tool" and fix it, its a tool that allow microsoft to take control over your updates and computer and install what is missing and such. I personally always get windows 11 stuffed in my face from microsoft when i use it so i don't use it but its a personal choice. I try and limit my windows 10s freedom and only use it 10 min / month so that i wont get too much extra work, 30+ minutes work to turn off your computer is a bit too much work. There is ways to stop windows 11 from installing, you can disable the TPM chip in bios and the install is blocked from installing windows 11 but it will leave a few GB trash files on your hard disk and the steps to remove them is semi complicated. Not all files is "for you to remove," they are owned by the trusted installer and they are a bit hard to remove. Not recommended for beginners.

What would be great to know is what you can do with a local account in windows 11. Its usually only a fragment of the functions that work with a local account in windows. I cant use my local account mail since microsoft wont allow it, its a "bad" mail since the mail address is built and work on the basis of privacy. I am forced to use a MS address that leak and share my entire private life to the rest of the world. I dont want to share my private life with everyone in this comment field for example. Windows 11 is too much work. I cant be asked to block 5000 connections to stop backdoor control/forced updates/spying/remote reboots. Microsoft haven't payed me for the last time they stole my computer and took full control over it, have told them that they have to pay for the hours i have been forced to put down to repair what they screw up and you all guessed it right, microsoft take zero responsibility. If microsoft want to use my computer to test their new "updates" im ok with it as long as they buy my hardware but they prefer to steal it instead. Lost quite a bit of data aswell when micorosft reboot my computer remotely in the middle of the night. No compensation for that either.
