My favorite HEB ice cream is the Starry Night. Its delicious. I like Blue Bell too and i live an hour and 20 mins east of the factory in East Texas. But HEB makes good ice cream too

I didn’t realize how spoiled I was growing up going to HEB with my mama here in Austin, TX. I’d have a very tough time adjusting to shopping anywhere else… prices are great, especially compared to Whole Foods which is the other local option. So glad HEB is only 5 mins away. And yes, Blue Bell is amazing!!! A true Texas staple.

Hey Darren and G, I don't live there and I have never been there before, but what about going to Boston when you guy's come back to the U.S. You could fly into Boston and maybe take a road trip to Buffalo NY to try some authentic Buffalo wings since I know your last trip here was pretty short. Or fly into where I live and visit Chicago, it will still be nice and warm here in September. Then you can try Italian Beef Sandwiches, Chicago style hot dogs, deep dish pizza, tavern style pizza, and Maxwell Street Polish Sausages.

It's called H E B. Not heb. It's named after the original owners grandson Howard Edward Butt. Also as far the queso they picked up the classic version is the best one. They're absolutely right Butter Pecan Blue Bell ice cream is fantastic.

My favorite Blue Bell Ice Cream flavors are ..... - Bride's Cake (An Almond flavored ice cream, with white cake pieces, surrounded by a rich Amaretto cream-cheese icing swirl) - Salted Caramel Brownie (A creamy Vanilla ice cream, combined with chocolate brownie pieces, and a salted caramel swirl) - Gooey Butter Cake (A Cake Batter flavored ice cream, combined with a sweet cream-cheese swirl, and rich gooey butter cake pieces) - Mint Chocolate Chip (A green Mint flavored ice cream with large chocolate chips) - Southern Blackberry Cobbler (A blackberry flavored ice cream, with a blackberry sauce swirl, and flaky pie crust pieces) - Red Velvet Cake (A Red Velvet Cake ice cream, with pieces of Red Velvet Cake, and a sweet cream cheese-icing swirl) - The Great Divide (Half the tub is Dutch Chocolate, and the other half is Homemade Vanilla) Unfortunately, all of those flavors, except The Great Divide, are "seasonal" flavors. So, we can only get them at certain times of the year. However, they do have standard flavors that you can get year-round.

Leave the Cowboy Cookies unsealed overnight and they'll be perfect the next day. Much softer. You can still have them with coffee or milk, but also without.

Missouri is a nice place to see, there is St. Louis, Kansas City, Branson, etc. Also has the sports teams professional and college, such as (American Football): Kansas City Chiefs (just off their Super Bowl win), Major League baseball (St. Louis Cardinals, Kansas City Royals), and college football Mizzou in Columbia Mo (midway between St. Louis and Kansas City). Plus it is within driving distance to other states nearby (Tennessee, Illinois, etc). 😊🏈⚾🥩

North Carolina is good because we have such a great diversity of landscapes - beach, foothills, city, mountains - 4-6 hours and you could drive through it all! We absolutely love Bojangles, a food chain only in certain states and started in NC (fries are extremely salty and dry, have to dip them, done like that because we like them that way, reccommend the Honey Mustard, and get the 4 piece chicken tenders and biscuit/fries combo - the biscuits are amazing! - can be hit or miss sometimes on Bojangles, but generally good). Cheerwine is from here, Pepsi's home is North Carolina, the Wright Brothers flew in NC on the coast.

I'm a northern boy from a state that always has the heel of its boot on everyone's neck, so imagine my surprise when I went to San Antonio for business and there was an HEB next to my hotel. I couldn't believe it. They had a side pizzeria where you'd pay something ridiculously low like $8 for a full pizza and two beers - that was the special. You'd get your first beer immediately, go drink it out on the picnic-like patio, then in ten minutes you'd go pick up your pizza and you'd have a ticket to claim your second beer. It was glorious. My local government would NEVER allow that. If not for the stifling heat, I'd move to San Antonio.

I'd recommend doing Boise, Idaho during the early to mid spring. Doing late spring to early autumn means you're risking dehydration. If you do come during the summer: hydrate even when you think you don't need to.

Mi Tienda has a tortilla factory in the store. Next time visit the Blue Bell factory in Brenham. They also ship around the U.S. My Costco has the 3 pack of Whataburger ketchup, 2 spicy and 1 regular. The Brits Joel and Lia did an HEB tour a few years back as well.
