I’m not condemning you in anyway but my opinion on Botox and anything that would alter your body is to me a conviction. I almost feel wrong to alter God’s creating in any way. I see beauty in naturally aging like we are all suppose to. We weren’t meant to always look skin lifted and perfect. We find our beauty from within, not on the outside. It’s not wrong to make ourselves look decent, but I could personally never do anything that would alter the image of myself and how God created me.

If your cramps are that debilitating, you should talk to your doctor about continuous birth control. I have endometriosis & have horrific cramps. My doctor recommended I take birth control pills, but skip the sugar pills for 6 months. It’s improved my quality of life so much. Far far less days in bed or doubling over from pain.

Pastor Jimmy Evans (a huge marriage pastor!) from Gateway Church has clear boundaries regarding marital sex: both must be consenting, never bring another person into your bedroom whether literally or by screens, our minds, etc. solely the two of you husband and wife ONLY. The other things are between the husband and the wife so…get creative 😊so long as it abides by the boundaries! If you’re wondering about the details, pray about it and talk to your spouse about it. The one thing that i feel confused on is modesty. When i was in my late teens i dressed very provocatively but I’ve gotten much better over the years. My husband and I started attending church again a few months ago which happens to be a Pentecostal church. I love my church but sometimes i dont enjoy dressing as such. Dresses only, everything below the knee, usually 3 quarter sleeve. I’ve only worn pants to church once and i felt like i stuck out like a sore thumb. I HATE attention (like disrespectful, staring, gawking) from dressing w/ something form fitting (think...pants that fit well, a dress), just dressing up some in general...so I avoid it most times. It's easier to be less noticed. But, I like dressing nicely for MYSELF! Also, at 31, it would be nice to wear some things that though somewhat modest...wouldn't necessarily be the most age appropriate in 10-20 yrs. And, while my body is a certain way (I never show chest or midriff). So, I kinda have the opposite issue...don't want the attention.

I like just about everything in this video. I think that these “open, transparent talks” can be helpful to others. One thing that I completely disagree with (if I understood correctly) is the suggestion to have open, detailed talks about sexual preferences while on a 1:1 date with someone that you are considering for marriage. Tread VERY CAREFULLY HERE. Asking about “your favorite sexual position” with a person that you are not married to is inappropriate - regardless as to whether a person “feels” convicted about it. The conversation should be more general. Ideally, talk with a married elder and his wife or other prominent married couples in God’s family & ask this Married Couple if they would be willing to join you on a date with your prospective spouse and apply “guardrails” should the conversation become inappropriate. I have your spiritual health in mind. Just saying…

What Kate said is correct! “Hate the sin, not the sinner” is what I’ve always heard and what my own Preacher says. Out of my 3 siblings, 2 are LGBQT+. Do I hate them? Of course not. Do I hate the sin? Yes I do, because it is against what God wants which means it is disobeying Him. I pray for my siblings everyday because of this, and a lot of the times, that’s all you can do on your part!
