I love broccoli cheese soup & my daughter in law loves it as well! You mentioned chunks of cheese. I've always loved putting about ½ inch cubes of cheddar cheese in hot mater soup 🍲 & let them get melty. Yummmm!

This soup is sooo good! I didn’t have white cheddar, I used harvarti cheese, didn’t have heavy cream, used half and half. Forgot to garnish lol , when in a hurry , these things happen. It’s good to know we can adapt the ingredients to what we have. Thanks Louise, husband and I love the soup ❤️

I make a different version of this beside the broccoli 🥦 I use onion 🧅, broth and milk and angel hair noodles along with the garlic ,salt and pepper and 1 # of white American cheese 🧀. It’s also delicious

Thanks Louise. Great stuff. We don't have the vegetable bases like Minors or Better than Bouillion in New Zealand, and it would be far too expensive to ship. I wouldn't mind a recipe to make my own (large batch) ;-) Would this be possible? Ditto for the chicken base. What do you think?

I made this soup today in my Ninja Foodi 8 quart deluxe, using the instructions on your website. I cut the chicken stock to 1 1/2 cups. It came out very thick. How can I think it out a bit?

With the Ninja Foodie Cold & Hot Blender I am wondering if there’s a difference between the HB100 & the HB152? Also, I’ve seen many times in reviews that they break down after a year if not sooner. I see many of the same problems in the reviews for the Instant Pot Ace Plus Blender. What is your thoughts on this? Is yours the HB100 or the HB152?And if anyone else has owned either blender for a good amount of time and has a recommendation I’d sure be grateful! Thanks :)

I have the HB152 and haven't had any issues. I did have to buy a second one early on because my husband dunked the blender base in water, but that was our fault. I think the differences are the functions and possibly the wattage.

I think that would work fine, but I would reduce the liquid by a few tablespoons since the frozen veggies will give off more liquid than fresh.
