This album came out of left field for me, always loved "The Shins" but never heard of "Danger Mouse". Fell in love with almost every song, was on repeat all summer at work/cottage and in the car. Great album. Peace.

Danger mouse is a music producer who teams up with great vocalists like this guy to make one off quirky albums . He's probably best known for being half of gnarls Barkley with celo green . One half of the group, Brian Burton (aka Danger Mouse) is not only a great musician who as made great music with his own projects (this group, Gnarls Barkley, and many other great collaborations) but he is also an wonderful an prolific producer. He has worked with Gorillaz (Demon Days), The Black Keys (El Camino and others), U2 (Songs of Innocence), Red Hot Chili Peppers (The Getaway), Beck (Modern Guilt), Nora Jones (Little Broken Hearts), and many other artists both more mainstream and indie, and from Rock, Hip Hop, pop, and other genre's.

Don't know this band but really enjoyed the tune. Great vocals and the instruments are so enjoyable with a great beat. I can hear the moog synthesizer from "Lucky Man" , Emerson Lake and Palmer when I hear that melodic sound. Maybe you too Harri? Great reaction Harri. So this danger mouse is a really big deal . Hes the guy who produced an album with celo green under the name gnarls barkly with the classic hit crazy. He hooks up with great vocalists like celo and this guy to make one time quirky albums. Broken bells after the disco is another great one from this album . 💯✌️🇮🇪. Great video

It's funny that you say the song is joyful. While the instrumentation might make it sound joyous and happy, if you pay attention to the lyrics the song is actually about suicide. I love Broken Bells, they're such an underrated band. Goodluck, One Night, October, Holding On For Life are all great if you're looking other songs to react to by them.

Definitely is a great song from a great band, I love all their albums. Funny that you think of it as happy music. If you pay attention to the lyrics the song is about suicide, but yeah the instrumentation makes it sound happy so I get what you mean.
