This time I´m restoring a Rolex Submariner from 2008. It´s powered by the Rolex 3135 Caliber.
The watch is in bad condition. The case is scratched, the glass is broken, and the bezel is completely destroyed. Surprisingly the watch is still running but not very accurate.
After polishing and cleaning the case, the movement gets a complete service. The bezel and glass are beyond repair, so I need my time-machine again ;)
After everything is cleaned and polished, I can re-assemble the movement with some fresh oil. After that, this watch is in a fantastic beat (+1 seconds per day) again.
I hope you liked this restoration, if so, like, comment and subscribe ;)

From the look of the crystal and bezel I'd say someone had a motorcycle accident and gave their watch a bad case of road rash!

Looks like it was replaced by a new watch and you cheated, that’s how good it’s been done. Fantastic job.

Make sure you order the flux capacitor from a legitimate source. I got one from China and all it does it heat pizza..

Awesome restoration as always! As far as what happened to the watch, it looks like it may have been in a motorcycle accident. The lines on the crystal look like it was dragged on the road, and the metal ring broke and popped off.

Have you ever had an "OH No!" moment during a watch restoration? Just curious.

Had I not seen the first few minutes of the opening, could've been thinking why are you doing with a near mint watch

I really love the finger dingers they wear it’s almost what you would wear for protection when you want to give your girl a finger cuddle. That watch didn’t look very old either.

My favorite scene in Toy Story 2 is when old man Geri restores Woody to like-new condition and stitches his arm back on. The way the entire scene is shot, underscoring even the most mundane tasks such as opening a drawer or shaking a paint jar, always stuck with me.

The thing I like about your videos is that you are a Real passionate Professional watchmaker. The tools, you used to open the watch, cleaning all of them, assembling the watch back together, I mean you use a dedicated tool/machine for everything. It's mesmerizing to see all the steps. Awesome job with this one. And I reckon this is the best video you showed us so far. Not to mention the intro :)

Honestly, this was the cleanest - before restoration - watch mechanism I've seen since I started following you on KZbin for a while. As usual, awesome work sir !!!

The fact that the watch was still running despite the condition it was in really tells you something about how good these watches are. Amazing.

I absolutely love your videos! You're like a watchmaking wizard on a caffeine overdose! Seriously, the way you handle those tiny tools with such passion and precision is mind-boggling. It's like watching a high-speed ballet of gears and screws. You've got a tool for everything, like a superhero with a utility belt, except you're saving time instead of lives. This video is the cherry on top of your watchmaking extravaganza. And let's not forget about that epic intro that gets me more pumped up than a ticking time bomb! Keep up the incredible work, maestro of horology!
