As a owner of a now weighing much less than 2019 SuperlightM6LXBrompton (I expect around 8,5 kilo. I haven't the weight since the last addition of lighter parts and - 9 kilo!), I honestly would hate to be able to loose my pedal, so I have kept my original pedals (A titanium bolt), and my mudguards, as a "Rainy Dane". I prefer the practical use for a small weight gain and risk of loosing my pedal. Finn. Denmark

I use the Mks Ezy Superior that use a twist lock / unlock mechanism so there's no yellow clip. Regards Bob

What a shame - am looking for a replacement but haven’t found anything that works as nice as the brompton’s original

I got the MKS Compact EZY on my B75. I rarely remove them, but a good option to have.

Stupid money for pedals i suppose, the yellow clip thing is a nuisance, told you I don't use it, maybe I should

Just a question. Where does the pedal go when removed/the bike folded? Thanks David

They come with a storage bag

That is shocking engineering and most likely an afterthought perhaps? Why engineer to such a degree and then stick a piece of junk in it to make it jobworthy? They need a black rubber bung or something.

As it goes for many products these days ... design goes so far then the testing is handed over to us punters rather than going to the expense of a pukka R&D department. 😑
