Let’s find out if buying this 1995 Hummer H1 Wagon was a huuuge mistake. Follow along as we daily drive it, test out its off road capabilities and see how much maintenance is involved. And maybe crush a few things in the process. In 2016 the engine was replaced with a new P400 6.5L turbo and the 4 speed trans was rebuilt to be bulletproof. This truck cruises nicely at 80mph. GM didn't make the H1. Even the Alphas. AM General made it for its entire lifetime from 1992 to 2006. The OEM tire size is 37x12.5x16.5 (or 17).
