BROOKS Glycerin 22 - First Impressions Review
The Glycerin is back and boasts some exciting updates, most notably a new midsole foam DNA Tuned. This foam was first featured in the Brooks Glycerin Max and for me it was a game changer in the recovery pace runs. Does the new foam work in the new model?....Tune in and find out my first thoughts.

I'm 160 miles into the Glycerin Max and mentally decided to replace my 1080v13 with the Glycerin 22 due to the DNA Tuned. Sad to hear that this isn't like the Glycerin Max, but also thankful to have reviewers like you tell us like it is.

@ I went with the Novablast 5 because of a discount. Sadly not fully satisfied with them because of its “blocky” feel. Should’ve gone with the Glideride Max!

@@raybadudu787but they are shoes in different categories. Nova is daily trainer with a wider range, max stacked big boy is for easy runs. So, how do you compare?

Can't wait to try this shoe. Brooks got the nicest looking line up of 2025. Would you say in terms of length, it fits like the ghost max 2 ? I had to half size up in that shoe. Still debating if the stealth fit would be the better option.

I got the Ghost Max (1), the Hyperion GTS (1) and Hyperion Max (1) all in the same size and all 1/2 size down. Never put my feet in the 2's, but i expect a similar length/fit. Just out of curiosity i put my feet into a regular Ghost GTX (i think that was #15) and the toe box was so tight, no chance in the same size,at least 1/2 larger than the normal Brooks size. If thats enough. Even for my narrow feet they were too narrow. Don't know what they did to the GTX version ;)

@run-are but i did have a gut feeling that the foam used in glycerin max will not work at a lower stack.

@@arv1n_kenn3x It's totally a different formula, much more dense. The Max was soft and spongey even just to the touch.

@@run-are is it still 10mm drop? I think if it's just like the same as 21, then i'll pass tbis one. I feell i got injured in my 21

Im hoping Brooks will give me the Aurora BL v2 with DNA Tuned, Like a slim-down-six-pack-super-model Glycerin Max. I love my Glycerin Max, just the fit is just too loose, and the weight is heavy!!!
