You're right, guys, these sisters know what they're doing and are completely professional artists. When the MTV production told them that everything had gone well and everyone had liked it, Paulina commented, more or less: "it means we did our job well."
@MrSudeepdas9 ай бұрын
The Warning rhythm section has 2 generational talents. In 2020 a leading bass manufacturer crafted a customized signature bass for a 15 year old with her inputs regarding aesthetics & structure. And then put her on top of their featured artists on their website. How talented do you need to be!!! In 2018 a professional bassist in New York sent 2 Spector bass to an unknown 13 year old girl in Monterrey, Mexico after watching her perform on KZbin with her sisters. Incredible isn't it? The Warning journey over the past decade is full of heartwarming stories like this. And that 13 year old girl paid back Thomas Illgen last August, when The Warning gave a concert at Stone Pony. Ale invited him & his family back stage and gave him 2 bass guitars - one from her Ale's inferno signature range recently launched by Spector & the other, a 5 string she had used for the song Martirio. That's class, gratitude & humility.

I first discovered these young ladies in June of 2015 and have yet to miss a single day in over 8 years in which I have not enjoyed listening to their outstanding and masterful music. In my 64 plus years of life I have never been as excited about a new band as I am The Warning. And believe me, I have been to almost countless concerts over the past 40 years. With their recent performance on the MTV Video Music Awards they have not only knocked on the door of superstardom, but blew that door off its hinges! They will, without a doubt in my mind soon be playing any venue they choose, including major arenas and stadiums. I also see them being invited not just to participate in, but to headline the biggest music festivals the world has to offer. LONG LIVE THE VILLARREAL SISTERS!

They are both Spector NS-5 basses but the blue one which is part of the Spector Custom line could be made out of different materials and have different electronics, the pick up configuration looks the same for both. Ale's Inferno has the NS-5XL designation but Spector simply calls them "NS Custom" now because I think they are all a bit different.

Yea their stems are things they can’t reproduce live. The click of course, piano, a crackling fire & other sound effects, backing guitar on occasion & of course Alessia Cara & Rudy😊. In the past she also ran all the lights and video screens thru it as well. They even ran Dany’s pedal board off Abelton at one point but Dany prefers to have control I think.

Their ability and knowledge is beyond their years. I pray they don't burn out. I remember years ago A Flock Of Seagulls lead guitarist was only 16 or 17 and their rise to fame burned him out. But I sense these women aren't in the drug and party scene like back in the 80's

I love watching these. They use various tracks to beef up certain parts, all the tracks whether it’s keys or 2nd guitar are played initially by them, and as technical difficulties are a regular feature of every band’s live shows, when their system goes down they shrug and carry on, most people will never notice. They strive for a full sound and they know how to do it. Thanks, nice reaction.

Dany explained in a VLOG on Patreon was when Matt Bellamy asked Dany her favorite color, she panicked, and her mind went blank. She said she sat there wondering what a color was and she just blurted out the first one that came to her, and that was yellow. When she said "yellow", Ale and Pau looked at her knowing yellow was not her favorite color and definitely not mustard. Not to make you any more jealous, Dany has 5 PRS guitars of different colors. FYI: while TW were in Clifton, NJ to record the "Error" album with David Bendeth, the Spector team drove from Woodstock, NY to Clifton to personally deliver the bass to Alejandra. She also played the 6-string bass belonging to her bass teacher Pablo Gonzales when she was 7 or 8. It was monstrous on her, but she could still handle it. Consider their covers of Muse "Resistance" and Twisted Sister "We're Not Gonna' Take It" which Paulina sings lead. These covers were done in 2014, the same as the "Enter Sandman." FYI: they recoded the Enter Sandman in one take. No do overs or dub overs. The covers they recorded in 2014 were done about the same time they stared writing their own music, which they released on the EP "Escape the Mind" in April, 2015. Also, consider their cover of Foo Fighters "The Pretender" about 2 years later.

I'm fine with the use of Ableton in their case, as all the instrumental stem tracks have been recorded by them, including the keyboards, except for the sound effects. I have seen fans speak about shows where the laptop crashed and they kept playing the rest of the show with no problems, except for some missing rhythm guitars and keyboards.

Also, Ale was the first one to use lights for her frets. Even at the Lunario concert Ale had them on her 4-string. Ale has also played a 6-string bass while practicing but I'm guessing that touring with Eruca Sativa finalized her move to a 5-string since Brenda Martin uses a 5-string and is someone Ale looks up to. Pau was really impressed by their drummer Gabriel Pedernera also. Eruca Sativa is also a three piece band. They are out of Argentina & had The Warning on tour with them in 2019.

Ale's amp/cabinet seems to change depending on the situation. In this video (for that tour), she's showing off a Mesa Subway D-800+ head with an Ampeg SVT-810E cab. In other live videos, she's seen using the Ampeg SVT-CL classic with that same cab. For the MTV VMA performance, she used an Orange AD200B head with an Orange OBC410 cab. In their rehearsal space, there seems to be yet another Orange head, but I can't see clearly enough to see what it is.

I think I said before, these gear videos are my favourite things I've seen from them. They come across so well, and in a language I suppose is not their first language, I wonder if they have had specific media training? I'm not a fan of the Ableton assistance. even though I know it's quite commonplace these days, and must be a considerable time and money saver. At a certain point it becomes hard to know if you are listening to a live performance, or something pre-recorded, when you can store the whole show on a flash drive. I began to feel uncomfortable about the way Rush were using technology on some occasions. I guess I'm just old, and I want a three piece band to sound like a three piece band.

During Lzzy's first tour (2005), her guitar broke down. Jason Todd from the band Shinedown and Seether gave her the Gibson. Lzzy thought it was a loan and wanted to give it back. But Jason said no, because he had previously bought the guitar as a gift. If Lzzy ever met another guitarist who impressed and inspired her, she was to pass the Gibson on. Well, apparently Lzzy didn't take it lightly, because it took her 18 years to do it...I think that says a lot about Dany's talent.
