Lynx 12 Upgrade Part 3 Grip & Stock

So a tip for that recoil pad. You can use a zip tie between the "honey comb" and stock sling cut out to keep it from sliding off

Got a Lynx in January (I ordered in November) and have been trying to install all the parts I ordered off Carolina Shooter. The extended magazine release has been a pain since it doesn't fit exactly flush without some dremel and the magazine release spring in the Lynx is different than the Saiga spring I see in all the install videos. I want to put the V6 muzzle brake on next as well. Got to shoot mine and with the gas set to 100% it cycled everything I had including some cheap-o walmart birdshot so this is the best $500 you could spend in 2021. Just don't forget to lube it up before you shoot for the first time or it will seize up.

What's the best way to lube it?

@@thedrunkenredneck4010 I just pull the dust cover off and hose it down with Balistol before pulling the bolt back 200 times. I think the manual says 100 times but it was the lockdown so why not wear it in a little more. You can't over-lube a gun but yeah it will splash out the first few times you shoot it so that's why I use a lube that doesn't smell terrible like Balistol. The break in period for these Saiga or Lynx shotguns is more intensive than I expected so I recommend really really reading manual to get started. These shotguns are incredible once you have them broken in and set the gas system up correctly.

I had bought a tromix extended charging handle for my Lynx same issues tried removing some of the material from the knob didn’t workout not enough threads after milling for the setscrew to tighten

They help bubba bubba stuff without perm messing up the gun, so please stop making that ugly wrenching sound its gimmicky and annoying as fuck.
