update: if you have the texas weapons handguard, you will need to do some milling on the insider of it to get it ti fit

I put the css puck in mine. Seemed to run a lil better. Should bought the whole kit with the spring, puck and regulator. The lynx12 already has 4 settings on the regulator tho

Thank you. And I do “plan” on having a video for the flash hider I’m putting on it. The problem is the thread protector is on their like a MF! I’ve put a heat gun on until it was smoking and still couldn’t get the dang thing off!

@@BrowncoatNerd its odd you had such a hard time on yours, I was able to toss a wrench on mine and turn it right off. I tossed a DK-01 on it.

@@bpowersman5000 I’ve had a few other people tell me they had the same issue with theirs. But it’s definitely not the norm.

Think I’ll go with the tac47 auto plug
@1990notch2 жыл бұрын
Did you install that and did it work on the Lynx 12?
@SanAntonioJoker2 жыл бұрын
@@1990notch i've got an autoplug on mine. you gotta dial it in and after that it's all good.

@@SanAntonioJoker Have you had any issues with the crimped end of a case hanging up on the barrel edge slot where the cutout for the extractor is? It's kind of sharp on one I was using, causing failure to feed issues.

Could we get a link? I like the series so far.

Thanks to stupid KZbin rules I can’t include links. But if you look up Carolina Shooter Supply you shouldn’t have any problems finding it. And thanks!

Idk will this work on the ks12 ?

If the gas plug is compatible with the Saiga 12 it should.

Can the gas regular be adjusted by hand or does it still need to be used with a tool like the original ?
@BrowncoatNerd2 жыл бұрын
It’s easily adjusted by hand.
@teethan87362 жыл бұрын
No need to depress the pin ?
@BrowncoatNerd2 жыл бұрын
@@teethan8736 I guess I should clarify. You still need to push in the pin but with this handguard you have plenty of room to just use your finger. And then this being a longer gas plug you can move that as well easily with your fingers.

Do us all a favor and quit repeating "Saiga/Saiga" over and over. It's a Lynx not a Saiga. And yes I realize they are quite similar but just refer to it as what it is, a Lynx.

Fortunately the Sega Segai Kalashnikov USA not a Vepr Saga video series will be coming to an end soon.

But its the same exact gun dude it is an exact replica of the saiga
@d30gaijin3 жыл бұрын
@@3807shawn No it is not the exact same, nor an "exact replica" of the Saiga. There are many subtle differences. I learned that the expensive way.
@jordanhicks51313 жыл бұрын
@@d30gaijin shut up nerd, they are functionally the same gun, 90% or more of the parts interchange. Sounds like you sprung for a saiga bolt without doing research and are butthurt when it didnt drop fit right in
