Highly unlikely you, or anyone else these days for that matter, knows who Jimmy Hoffa is but he was well known here in the US. I don't remember all the details since he disappeared over 20 years before even I was born, but he had strong connections to the mafia and ended up going against mafia leadership by working to become the leader of the Teamsters Union, one of the largest unions in North America. After a planned meeting between Hoffa and a couple higher ups in from the Detroit Mafia and the Genovese Crime Family from New Jersey, a meeting where Hoffa called and told his wife they never showed, Jimmy Hoffa disappeared and has yet to be found.

@@nsasupporter7557 I loved Ace Ventura as well, his performance was masterful, and the same could be said for Dumb & Dumber. I feel all of his early stuff shows how great of a physical comic he is. And the later stuff shows he is more than just a physical comic but a great actor with multiple skill sets on display. I'm sure there are quite a few Jim Carrey movies others would place ahead of 'Yes Man". I just happen to like the story and the clever dialogue between Jim Carrey and Zooey Deschanel and the supporting cast was good as well. And I also believe it is a Jim Carrey movie they have yet to watch and is the one remaining movies of his worthy of a reaction by "The Homies".

Now, do to age he’s lost his ability to be physical and not as good anymore. He’s still talented no doubt, but doesn’t have the abilities that he use to have. The last “really good” movie he did was Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind in 2004. After that year, his movies just weren’t as good

I watched some of this movie being filmed 😁. The world's biggest cookie scene in Orchard Park is right down the street from my childhood home. It's so cool that this was not only based on Buffalo, but filmed there too. I saw Jim Carrey on set a few times but didn't catch Morgan Freeman 😭.

There was a short story (more a novelet) that was written by H G Wells (who also wrote war of the worlds) in 1898 called the man who could work miracles. It has basically the same structure except he suddenly was able to do miracles that never explained (at least I don't there are States that at least I don't think that came from God I don't really know it's been here since I read
