For whatever reason Warriors actions and comments got under the skin of people at WWE to the point they financed a burial DVD. The problem is at the time no matter how much dirt got dig up on warrior, it didn’t make the WWE look any better at the time, and now looking back it makes them look even worse not better
@D2Kprime4 жыл бұрын
From the time that the Warrior came to the WWF he has been a draw. They sought to make money off of that trash-DVD. I don't think the people really "believed" what they were saying. They were just told to say things. Chris Masters recently did an interview where he said that he had a chance to meet the Warrior and because of what OTHER people said he had an stand-offish attitude towards him even though the Warrior was friendly and professional. Now he feels guilty (especially with him growing up as a Warrior-fan) that he prejudged him in that way.

I remember a media interview with Vince McMahon in the late 90s where he was asked if Hogan (WCW at the time) would ever be inducted into the HOF and he said yes. When he was then asked about ever working with Warrior again he said abslutely not. So we never got to see a Self Destruction Of Hulk Hogan dvd unfortunatly.

there has been on and off again heat between Vince and Hulk for sure, but i think there's a big reason why Hogan came back in 2002 and there was never any interest both on the Warrior's end and on WWE's end to bring him back

Drives me mental when they describe themselves as an entertainment company like their Universal or Warner Bros. Or any other film or TV company. They wish they were as mainstream and as big as those companies. They are so embarrassed by being a wrestling company that it’s really sad. The men and women working for you want to be pro wrestlers not sports entertainers as you call them. No has ever said “Hey did you catch the sports entertainment last night?” Or “my favourite sports entertainer is...”. Drives me mad.

I agree as there are already thieves, sexual-predators, child-molesters, convicted-felons and murderers in the WWE Hall Of Fame. Not condoning any of that, just saying that WWE can't cherry-pick morality when it sits _them._ Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think Pete Rose gambling on the Reds is comparable to Benoit (allegedly) murdering his family and then killing himself. Not a good comparison. Might wanna reel that line back in bro.
@victorysaber16084 жыл бұрын
@@D2Kprime Pete rose had a hall of fame career. Still holds some records. Only losing a few to like ichiro sazuki. Who's a monster legend. Hes not in cause he bet on his own team. Stupid. Especially as they got steroid users drowning the hall. Benoit and his wife should be in the hall of fame. Especially if someone can get in twice. Ray Lewis is in the nfl hall of fame. Murdered a person. Just wwe people being overly sensitive to the twitter mob. That's why wrestling died soon as the attitude era ended. They gotta keep bringing these retired guys out off the couch just to get a pop. Proves the current talent isn't good enough. Atleast AEW has jericho. Who is the last standing top shelf performer. Yes times caught up, but he hasn't slowed much. Whos at his level and still considered full time at wwe? Reigns and Strom aren't jericho level. And wwe is all about investing in the women's division which they're doing all wrong. They dont need to be mixed in. Let them seperate. Do 2 hours of raw, as attitude era went. Then after the show do the women's. The biggest draw is the main event anyway. So carry the fans from the raw main event to the women's show. If its so great and the future, quit mudding it with mens wrestling. Even when you had rousey, flair, and lynch main event. It wasn't even comparable to average men's matches.
