Toby enjoys his grooming session despite the little knot ;)
His fur feels soft as silk, he hardly gets any knots but when he does it's easy to remove them.

It's so lovely that beautiful Toby stays still even though it's not comfy sometimes or easy to brush through his long fur. We had a gorgeous long haired fur baby named Florence many years ago and brushing Flo could be difficult some days so it's so nice to see a kitty so comfortable with brushing ❤ .

I can relate as my Milli Moo, who looks so much like Toby, gets the same little knots. Watching you work on the knot, then try to divert his attention by combing other areas is exactly what I have to do. Milli doesn't comply quite as well so I showed him the video to see if he learns a thing or two from Toby❤!

[I was watching videos from Girl With The Dogs and she was grooming some long haired cats. She said they have to be brushed regularly or their fur will mat and it becomes difficult to brush. There was one case where she had to shave a Persian because the matting was so bad. Persians have a problem grooming themselves, anyway, because of their pushed in face.]

@@enlilw-l2 My sis is a registered vet tech and we both worked for vets. There are shampoo/conditioner made for cats and dogs. Simply take a damp cloth afterwards and remove any excess conditioner. It's not rocket science. And it is safe.

Misschien fijner voor Toby om het haar zo dicht mogelijk bij de huid beet te pakken en dan te kammen. Je trekt dan niet direct aan het haar en huidje. Tip van iemand met lang haar. 😂
