Dell Precision 5690 Review

I have the 5680 which work provided for use as a video editing workstation. While it does a very good job, I would have preferred a keyboard with a dedicated number pad.

It would be nice if they could bring back the number pad considering the amount of space and the speakers doesn't take that much space, would help all the data entry for the professional tasks. Hoping Dell take note of the considerations from client feedback.

I am looking at buying the 5680 with core i7 and 32GB of ram. Would you say it is worth the extra money to upgrade for the 5690 (400$ more for the 16GB ram model) or stick with the 5680? Thanks for your review!!

It a nice workstation, but the fan noise is atrocious for video editing. My MBP M2 is comparable in price and nowhere near the noise level of the dell.
