Single greatest rant in jiu jitsu. I didn’t like telling people I trained cause eventually it just became me trying to explain how I wasn’t gay. But I knew a person at an office I worked at who wore the BJJ shirts, had the bumper stickers, his computer wallpaper was Helio Gracie and he was a two stripe white belt. That’s when I realized that I was wrong and jiu jitsu could be gay and sometimes the gayest parts are off the mat.

12:05 there were mornings in basic training boot camp that I’d have thrown it so away or preferred publicly crying instead of running a couple miles at 530.
