This was my favorite scene of all of the ova's . Leon getting rather upset was the best part. Thanks for doing this. I am glad the Knight Sabers live on in the hearts of the fans. I look forward to your next one- lableashavoc (:~>?=

I really like this scene, but it should have been bigger. The Knight Sabers are conducting an assault of Genom's main tower. Youd expect dozens of military boomers to be shooting at them, not just 2.

You are so right about that!!!! 2040 does not even come close to 2032/33/34. I look forward to the live action movie hoping that it will be worthy of the ova along with the music. labelashavoc (:~>?=

We fans can only hope that it will be worthy. I thought I read that Mr Sonoda is going to be involved in the project in some way . I hope so. At least could be done right with him involved. labelashavoc (:~>?=

True enough, but you know Hollywood. They will make a movie about anything. Let's just hope it is done right no matter who makes it. I have never watched Dragon Ball anime, but I knew enough not to see it in on the live action screen. labelashavoc (:~>?=

Unpopular opinion. This series English/japanese songs are good. GOOD. depending on song. Either are both really good.

Rock Me in English is superior to the original imo, it's a shame it cuts off at the end because the guy who added the song missed his timing by 8 seconds.

@omganotherun i agree although i prefer the original the dubs helped me with my linguistics and world culture as well as just having fun. I still like seeing both if they are well done. Hollywood though just doesn't get it. They have this we can make it better attitude, with foreign remakes they have a habit of Epic Fails. I occasionally go to see just how bad they will mangle it.

@labelashavoc I have also heard of GITS and Akira are seriously being looked at. Don't walk RUN for cover that is. :-p.. Cameron was allegedly involved with GITS. There was even a screenplay in the work for GITS by a known writer, well she was allegedly known or mangling remakes. :-( It seems Hollywood has been desperate for anything lately. Really who could actually play The Major Kusanagi san, or anyone else for that matter. What about the Tachikomas/Fujikomas.

It's a common trope these days to make fun of when Anime fans tell you that have to watch it in the original Japanese with subtitles to get the full experience... but as a fan from the days when we commonly called it Japanimation, it was all underground, and only released officially on VHS at inflated prices, Bubblegum Crisis was simply atrocious in English. It is without a doubt my all-time favorite Anime series above all others to this day, but the dubs are god awful. When that's your only option for a language you natively understand, you go with Japanese with English subtitles. I mean, you need to hear the raw emotion delivered by Oomori Kinuko in Moonlight Rambler and Red Eyes to really FEEL it, even if you don't speak Japanese.

@Rodrick Young I also prefer English dubs... but not with BGC. I'm not being snobbish about it in this case, the English cast is genuinely bad. Very flat deliveries and almost no emoting. You can see several other English dubbed shows from that time that have fantastic performances, this was like they hired people who just had zero interest in being there.

I agree with you. What do think of the new Robotech movie they want to do? I heard it has been put hold though. With todays technology, I bet it could be done well. If the right person who knows about the anime. labelashavoc (:~>?=

@omganotherun Problem is, many of the purists, and the kids who begin watching animé today don't give a sh*t about the history of how animé really broke through in the West, or what'd made it big. I remember when I watched BGC with the original Japanese cast...It was horrible, and the music is very generic. At least in English it's generic and understandable :)
