Just started out flight simulating. 'Bound for The Bahamas' is a fantastic and fun way to be introduced to piloting, navigating and the instruments involved in the Cessna. Have been watching and learning while trying to fly the same flights. Writing this post while flying to Fort Pierce using the ForeFlight app. Just amazing! Looking forward to see what's next to explore!

This is amazing - I had no idea you could hook X-Plane up to Foreflight! Can't wait to try it (iPad and Foreflight subscription coming soon!)! Thank you so much for posting this - I also really appreciate the way you explain the use of X-Plane for real-world pilots who are using the sim to augment their training (as I am). As a student pilot, I've been cautious about adding automation into the cockpit. Being able to train in Foreflight on the ground will be a huge help. More flight students and pilots who use X-Plane need to know about this!

Excellent videos, thank you! Does Foreflight as you use it in this video require a paid suscription? Is there a discount for flight sim versus real life?

Thanks for flying along Demos! Foreflight does require a subscription. I'm not aware of any special subscription for the sim, but that might be a great new market for them to explore. In the end, the basic subscription works out to about 8 bucks a month, so it's really pretty fair for its power.
