Another fine instruction video. Thanks a lot for sharing so much knowledge with an “old 💨 “ like me. I’ve really enjoyed this series so far and I’m looking forward to the rest of the videos yet to come.

Fantastic, being a flight novice i found grasping the ATC really difficult and after being told it is pants so many times it made me think to give up on it but your explanation has really helped. Nice work Clay :)

Great - so glad it helped! Just remember that the ATC system can be challenging at times, so if you can't figure it out, it might not be something you are doing wrong.

Good video. Thanks for the tip about changing the tail number. Just leave off the letter "N" and it would sound a little more realistic. I'm definitely going to try this tip. I really miss ATC from MSFS, even flying VFR. This isn't too bad tho. Thanks for your videos. - PT

I'm sorry to say that but it is what it is. Default ATC sucks. It is like default FSX etc. which sucks too. Only way to enjoy ATC is payware addon or online flying with ATC period. :( 124atc freeware plugin is good place to start and replace default ATC.

Overlord I can't disagree that there are many shortcomings with the default ATC. My goal is to help people who might be interested in figuring it out. Perhaps down the road I'll highlight one of the add ons. That's for the recommendation. I've heard a lot about that one!

amadi6 I have been exploring some recently and haven't come to a conclusion enough to give a recommendation, but I'm very interested in exploring 124th ATC more. I'll be sure to make a video once I find one I love.
