governors on the ‘ol huskies have a ball and spring in the carb...the spring compresses as the saw revs, because of the vacuum, and the ball lifts from its seat, and floods the saw to keep the revs in check. All you have to do is cut out a very small piece of gasket material to go between the ball and the seat to block the port. Voila! You now have an ungoverned saw that will scream, and more runtime on a tank. Your revs certainly pick up, likely another 1000 rpm. Trick a old friend showed me way back when I bucked for a living with a 288 husky. Easy peasy, cheap, and effective. cheers from northern BC!

Emotional pain can kick your butt into a whole new life it was what stopped my drinking. I was bad Buckin. My wife was leaving and taking my 4 year old son with her. No chance of getting them back, words fell on def ears no way in Hell she was sticking around and wasting anymore time with me. We had been through a lot together but she couldn't take it anymore. Normally a drunk would say screw it and get hammered and forget, but I stopped not to get them back but just not to be that guy anymore. Anyway about 3 months later she finally believed that I was changing into the man she knew I was and my life is freaking awesome and my son has never had to see his father like that. I live everyday greatful of that emotional pain that pushed me passed all that. Thank you Buckin for sharing your life with us all. Have a great night! All the best from Northern California

But I’m doin my best and trying to lead an example for my daughter and few friends that iv always called my friends and I see a difference in all of us the more I stay straight! I do smoke occasionally and I don’t need that anymore, my friends seem to think they have to smoke and wana take Xanax and get all bent out of shape.So I told them how I feel about that and Maybe they will listen to me but I feel a lot better about life now and can see a lot clearer then normal, like truly blessed that I’m all for love and a straight path! thank you uncle buckin people like you are what makes me! Amen, that's like critiquing a mechanic who can build hotrod engines in their sleep on shoddy paint jobs. If the man creates things he loves that function outstanding, why critique him on the appearance that don't matter. Power saws were built to be tough and buck wood, not look pretty.

Whenever you make any changes to your induction or exhaust you have to re-tune the mixture. Because the mix varies according to operation. Fuel has WEIGHT and it takes a slight bit of time to catch up with the demand: that's what accelerator pumps/jets/nozzles are for on yir automobile carburetors. When you crack open the throttle the accelerator circuit juices/enriches the mixture so engine doesn't bog or backfire.

from the way I understand the 2 smoker exhaust. Thats good! Real good. Channel the exhaust away with a similar sized outlet ( a tiny bit bigger, in this case as its going 90 degrees downward ) and then increasing the size of the room the exhaust has at exactly the right distance away from the port! And the expansion will cause a vacuum, and if you use the distance of the exhaust pipe to time it just right with the piston, you'll pull a little extra horse power from it. And I mean pull, the exhaust system is pulling the exhaust from the cylinder in that set up. SO its real, he must of got it right on the money with that one.

I so want to be able to understand you so much better because I truly believe that God sends certain people to earth 🌎 to inspire and protect the meek. Many are overlooked as they do not seem overwhelmingly strong. However Some just protect the innocent and have seen evil 😈 and do not doubt just how evil souls can be. Sometimes you don't have a lot of time to properly understand or teach a life lesson 🙃 🙂 so you just push through it as guidance 🙏 for the innocent and misguided.

@marknash71134 жыл бұрын
Buckin, the pulling power improvement that you are working on is called scavenging in technical terms. Two stroke exhaust design is much more critical than four stroke! Big improvements can be made with relatively minor changes. Porting obviously matters but you can tune and reduce the circulation turbulence and get good flow with back pressure!

With any 2 stroke engine, if you think of them like an air pump and know that air flow is king then you can do a lot of work to and with them. The better air flow through them the better they run, porting and polishing is how we achieve our goal in creating air flow.

Buckin, I cant thank you enough for all the information. I have learned so much since I subscribed! I’m in the market for my first chainsaw. Is there any chance you could make a video with a few tips for making a wise choice? Should I buy new or used, modern or vintage?
@JohnAllen-lw7xf4 жыл бұрын
I will never buy a new saw again. The older saws, in my opinion, were better made. Take your time to do some research on make, model, size etc. bc with older saws, there is a lot of information on the good, bad and ugly on each make and model. When you go to buy the make and model you prefer, look for good compression and of course it has to run. The Plastic tells a story as well. Look around the muffler. Does the plastic look like it’s deformed or melted? If so, it could have been run to hot. Good luck joe! I hope you get a goodun!
@silvertone62734 жыл бұрын
John Allen thank you for the info! That’s more or less what I was thinking. Not to mention there are some great deals on used saws out there! I’m experienced with them, used them a ton in my last job, but I never bought one for myself.
