This also applies to other chainsaws and two stroke engines as well.

I’m not Robert I’m Ronald Towns but I thank you for explaining this. I’ll check it out tomorrow. I didn’t know they were governed so that may be why I was having trouble. Now for air leaks I lost there too. Hopefully it’s not a air leak. Thanks again and I’ll let you know if I get it right tomorrow. Have a good night, be safe and be kind.

Did I actually say Robert? If I did I’m sorry buddy. I was going through my mind making sure I put enough info out. Just let me know how it goes

You can check for air leaks with carburetor cleaner. If you spray it close to the leak it will kill the saw most of the time.
@drewscreations85513 жыл бұрын
@@ironwoodworkman4917 yep, that’s how we do it a lot of the time. You can do crank seals that way too on some saws.

Great explanation on the governed carbs buddy. Is the air filter on that saw better than the ones that have the fuzzier material on them. Thank brother.🌲❤🌲✊
@drewscreations85513 жыл бұрын
Tha is pal! I was hoping it would provide clarification for people who were wondering. This air filter is the “mesh screen” type the one you are referring to is the “flocked wire screen” the mesh, provides more airflow and does an okay job at filtering, but it tends to let super fine material such as cellulose, through it. The flocked one does a bit better job at filtering, but you loose some flow characteristics.

This video is for educational purposes only. Hahaha :D :-) Now you are starting to sound like TheChainSaw Guy with his West Coast Muscle Saws. I like it @Drew... But I think you are just looking for a reason to show off that bad as% power-saw :)

@@ronaldtowns7291 I am just joking with Drew @Ronald Towns : ) I'm sure he will know this when/if he reads it. This is a great video with good stuff in it. Drew knows I have been working with power-saws all my life and I am watching him and his partner, because I like seeing their channel and small business grow. Take care friend and have fun with your power-saw :D
